I have had this phone for 2 months and started having problems with it. The battery has suddenly started to drain very quickly - gives me just over a day, and nothing is switched on to drain it.
Also people trying to ring me are not getting through to phone or when I phone they can't hear me.
Has anyone else had problems - not happy paying £116 for phone lasting 2 months!!!!

Just in case anyone is interested I needed a .flv to mp4 converter to get my Flash files onto the GT540.
This did the trick... http://www.soft82.com/download/mac/free-flv-to-mp4-converter/. You can also adjust the width of the mp4 with the Setting button before conversion so it sits nicely on the GT540 screen. I don't have any connection with this company whatsoever...it's just that I spent ages looking for something Free that would do the trick. Once it was converted I just used Windows Explorer to drag and drop into the GT540.

Amazing phone. I just got it for £100 in Uk and the phone rocks.
Its got so many features for that price.
In India its for Rs. 10,500 so if you are in UK and returning back to India then I suggest you by it from UK as the price difference is almost Rs.3000

jk, 11 Oct 2010I got this phone in pink 2 days back, so far im satisfied ... moreFor apps on your SD...you need to first update to v2.1 then root your phone...then install apps2sd. For guide...look at RFB's post a few pages down.

I got this phone in pink 2 days back, so far im satisfied with its feature (plus the fact that i just paid 300 bucks).i'm having fun downloading free apps and games from the android market... only my concern is how to set the sd card as default for storing all my downloads, that is if it is possible...

Where can i check if the 2.1 upgrade is available in "Balkan" languages? I'm using the Baltic rom for now, but hoping they release the rom for Balkan countries soon...bored with english :D

On your pc or phone(using the browser)-
Google Calendar > Settings > Calendars Tab > Browse Interesting Calendars > More Tab > Contacts' Birthdays and Events
sync!
