And my next little problems...on the lock screen when it says "2 missed calls"...how do I remove/reset that? Every time I fire the phone up its there, confusing me!

To Rottenfoxbreath...as you are the expert! How do you switch off the keypad noise when you are using the browser and typing something in? Im sure you have answered this somewhere (ive been reading your posts everywhere..thankyou very much for the help youre giving everyone) but i just cant find the answer. Thankyou in advance.

+ is a plus symbol...so next to 2.1 it would be 2.1 +(plus), as in 2.1 upwards.
There's Android 2.2 but not on this phone, and live wallpapers are 2.1+, not 1.5 or 1.6, etc.
