First go to Settings then go into USB and Memory and click on your SD card (if you have one). Then click the three white dots in the corner and click on settings. Then right below the eject option click on formate or something like that and from there you should be able to formate your SD card. Of course i haven't tried this myself because i dont wanna delete all my data but it should work

You can transfer the app's data, but not the app itself. I bought a 34Gb card and cant even use it because the phone downloads the apps to the internal storage only. I would transfer my SD card to adoptable storage but the k8 cant do that either (typing this with the k8)

complete trash, cant move any apps to memory card and bcause of that the phone eats up its iternal memory after installing facebook and messenger basicly... add 1 or 2 more apps and your done...

I have owned this since the day that it was released to stores in my area. It was Priced at £119 which i thought was a bit pricey because of the specs the phone offered , i had enough money to buy a moto g4 play. I was coming off a lg g3. But i chose this because it almost had everything the Moto g4 was offering for half the price , so i chose the lg.
I can tell you i have no regrets because its still as fast AS DAY 1 , the display is beautiful. The camera isn't the best but i can tell you its the best for the price as many phones of this bracket have 5 mp cameras . These were the good points
the bad points are that the back is made of plastic, and thats all

I have LG K8 about a year and it is great. It works just fine, battery lasts for days if you do not use it too much, but if you always 0 - 24 watching vids, playing games, reading, of course it will run out in few hours, that is called common sense. Only problem is that I cannot take vids with light on my front camera. I always have about 2GB of free space, so phone never slows down. Internal memory needs to be filled with apps manually, but I do not see problem with that, I am not lazy. Cam is good, better on regural than on Retrica or any app, it takes about two seconds to open any page or document. My experiences are positive.

nice phone...low budget... you get a perfect lg phone.....for everyday used . those people not sattisfied...buy the expensive one....its free to choice what you like guys......peace man!!!

mike, 20 Sep 2016why is it that my LG K8 takes 5gb only for its software in ... moreOne of the problem in LGk8 its has a internal memory of 8gb and everytime u download any apps u have to transfer it to sd card but at the last moment u will notice that it consumed more space in ur internal memory even u transfer it to sd card and some apps there is no option to put them on sd. You will think where is the 8gb gone? I got fb, msgr and antivi apps all of them already transfer to sd but the memoriy drop to 500mb. Alwhere are those 7gb?? But phone is running good and perfect.

OK this phone is all around trash just read all the bad comments and you will understand on and PS: prepare for constant rebooting when you get this piece of crap
