well the phone has resistive touchscreen which mean u can use a stylus with it,which should be able to recognise handwriting. I personally like capacitive touchscreens that require only a soft touch rather than presure(but with capacitive u can't use anything but u're fingers but that's OK with me).
I hope I helped some people understand the diferences between these 2 tipes of touchscreen tipes. Cheers:)

This phone,in my opinion is very stylish although it was never ment to be strong on looks. And even if it a tad thicker than the pixon,holding the 2 phones makes u believe that the LG is thinner.And i simply love the user interface,I think it is better than the touchwiz(not apple MacOS of course). This will surely be my next phone;I'll wait until the price drops a little. Go 4 it people!

Yes the Iphone's usablity is second to none, but I doubt also that you even own an Iphone. This wasn't meant to be compared to the Iphone, for a start it has MMS that actually works and stereo bluetooth, does the IPhone have that? It took Apple 2 long years to finally implement these features on what my Nokia 3650 could do from 2003. The LG has videocall and FM Radio which the Iphone lacks, plus dolby mobile and DIVX. I'm sure the Iphone doesn't need DIVX but the fact you can't play music through the speakers when you want is plain stupid.

Hi there...i got this phone around a month ago...before i purchased the fone i read the reviews left by people everyday about this fone...the reviews that people left i found to be misleading and untrue for eg. people critisied the volume of the ringtone saying it was very low which is so untrue...also people commented on the mp3 player volume being very low through the headphones which is once again untrue as there are 2 volume buttons 1. On the Phone

On the headphones............After reading these comments over a period of a few weeks i felt i no longer wanted the fone but when i tested it in a shop i found that all the negative comments where untrue....THE ONLY CRITICISM I HAVE FOR THIS FONE IS THAT WHEN RECORDING A VIDEO IN A DARK ENVIRONMENT IT CAN BE A BIT GLOOMY OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FONE TO ANYONE AND ITS IS FAR BETTER THAN THE OTHER 8MP FONES THAT ARE OUT THERE.THANKS...JORDAN. I bought this fone a few days back n its simply awesome ... i have read all the POOR reviews about this fone and do not agree... Its very user-friendly and the camera is xcellent... I would happily recommend it to anyone... dont think... just buy !!!

the lg Renoir is an ok phone . lg make better fridges than phones, i would recomend a c905 if ur looking for a quality phone
