It give me the same message...So frustrating coz I only bought it a week ago. Anyways, have you been able to repair your phone since...my e-mail address is pmanufolau@yahoo.com Please let me know as I need help too. The phone repair shop say its a software problem (phew!!)

Is there an antivirus for this phone? Where can I download it? Also need to have an answer for I have this phone since December and now I experienced having my phone calls cut everytime I use it. The call will end up most probably after a few seconds. It's like I'm experiencing a drop call. I tried to use other simcard from other network, I experience the same scenario. Did someone experience this too? Is this common to all LG renoir or my phone has a defect?

For nearly 5months i couldnt decide between the renoir and the iphone! I tried the renoir in the stores and few times and something just wasnt right! In the end i opted for the iphone and OH MY GOD!!! I SO DO NOT REGRET MY DECISION!! Sorry but the renoir to me was rubbish. Yes 8mp camera but to be honest the iphones camera is really ALOT better than i had expected! Im one happy customer who seriously made the RIGHT decision. Especially with all the bad reviews ive read over time with the renoir!

same thing happened to me, but that seemed to work.

this phone is alright i suppose i baught it a week ago and to me i dont think it was worth the money ok it has a 8mp cam which is gd but the rest of the features are rather not worth it in my opinion
to all that want to buy this phone try it first

ist time to have pda phone, regret to have this phone, basic phone to have only wifi,hcus....they say dobly sound, i play my movies dnwload, then not yet finish the speaker of the phone, spoil, rekcuf...... not cant used the phone wd out headset,no quality one...now wasting my time to go service center...

I spent weeks checking on gsm arena reading others reviews and what not. I test the N96 in store and the pixon whihc seemed okay. I was sold this phone envutally over the phone by 02 by a retentions person via a geek to geek conversation on it specs ect.ect
OMG!!! I could have opened a kinder surprise and got a better build quality than this CRAP!!!
Screen, Apart from being a slow as george Bush to make an apology it was not intuitive or nice to look at. Lg have seemed to try to create the S60 look with MS paint.
It took me 20 min to realise that if I had to face instant death whilst having my eyes poked out or have this phone for 12 months. I would take the death thanks.
I am an IT engineer so get pretty exited about technology , not that you have to work in IT to be interested.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE who ever you are try this in a shop before you buy it. On paper it sounds good but it looks cheap (in real life) the functions seem cheap and overall LG have only produced a few handsets so bless them at least there trying.
Peolple do like to go on on this web site when reviewing but this phone is scrap.
N.B. There are no software updates, extra widgets or proper support for this device so if you buy then start praying for a miracle...

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2009can yu use ur nails to press send your phone to an authorized repair station, you cant do anything about it. some nokia models has the same problem when their firmware is being updated.

I need help, i tried to update my renoir firmmweare but something went wrong, now when i try to turn renoir on it just said "lg please wait" and that mesage wont change, i cant use my phone at all, any sugestions how to fix this... plzzzz

Can anybody tell me if this phone allows to easily record the conversations (so that my voice and the voice of my caller is well heard)?
What I want is having the ability to record the conversation without browsing through tons of menus- 2-3 clicks and recording to a file when needed...
I have this option in my old W910i, but I've heard its not possible in windows mobile systems anymore...

In any case, please note that in order to connect to the internet you need to be sure that: 1) your plan allows for receiving over the air data; 2) you are in a 3G area; 3) your settings are not in GSM mode only. If you're on a GPRS or EDGE connection the phone will not connect to the internet.

the write-up says it has gps with an a-gps reciever but in no phone doctor and dont know exactly wat that means.i know wat gps is and how it works in other phones like the omnia but can someone please explain to me wat a-gps is and how it is different as ive never had a gps or a-gps phone before and would like to know how it works.cheers

I had the phone for 3 months and still 'live' with these issues despite calling on LG Singapore for help on 2 occassions:
1) Very soft ring tones, for incoming calls
2) Unable to view jpg photos, taken with SLR digital camera !

Hi i got this phone yesturday and im not sure why it wont connect to the web. I have read the booklet that comes with it and i have followed the instuctions but it doesnt seem to work. Do i need to activate something to make it work? Can any1 help please?

inzomiac, 24 Feb 2009how much does LG kc910 worth (in Philippines)? does anyone ... moreif price is not a factor go for renoir. 5800XM is only good at music & larger screen & being symbian. Else renoir is simply awesome.

call this code 3845#*910# first time it will say data
then put in again,then you are in the reset menu
many things to do to phone here ,I did a factory reset and it fixed everything with my kc910
