very nice ladies phone. MP3's make for louder ringtones. Love the scroll bar. Unfortunately Telstra in Australia has not bundled this phone with the USB data cable making transferring of photos and music impossible.

I have a problem with this phone and I want some help!
I change the ringtone, and in some cases it doesnt work.. the phone put me another ringtone that is different that the one I choose.

i haven't got the phone yet nut i don't really know to get it now. does the phone have a really bad battery and have low sound so someone please please e-mail me and tell me i will love you if you could!:)

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the messaging on this phone?
Because I'm thinking about getting it, and I'm a huge texter so if the messaging options and such aren't good, I might reconsider.
Also, is it true you see the phone number instead of the contact when someone calls and/or texts you?

I got a LG KE970 Shine yesterday, and so far, I'm loving it!!
It's really cute and the features are not bad as many people have complained. (Like sound, and message and stuffs.)
The only thing is that you cannot use your own message tone and you cannot zoom in to view pictures.
However, I will need some time to get used to the scroll thing.
Other than those, the phone is perfect.

im thinking about getting this phone, but it only supports up to 2gb? through microSD.

Great phone, would be the best deal if it had a better battery (960mAh would be ideal) and support for custom playlists (not just one that you have to seek through). Because of that I usually keep music in folders and manually advance on song end.
Aside from that I experienced none of the problems people have described here(no name in sms, etc)

I Like My LG KE970 but I too has the problem with the battery not giving the correct reading,however I wish there were more features such as the option of changing the message tones and more storage on the phone I also thought that it had radio and was dissapionted. Is there any cases made that fits my SHINE.

Great Looking Phone, simple to use, but the Sound level is too Low, the Battery Level is not Accurate too,one minute its low, the other minute its not. But its the Looks that Count nowdays, appart from that ist a Phone, & You can Make Calls & Takes Pictures, listen to Music and all that Stuff what any Modern Mobile Can Do. I Like it.

hey guys if you are wondering how to change the problem of not being able to see who is messaging you.. change your numbers from having a zero at the start have +61 for eg: +61437 765 432 instead of 0437 765 432 :)

Can someone tell me how to install games on this handphone? like.. from .Jar files. It says it automatically has install menu, but it doesn't. So can someone help me? or e-mail me how to install this games.?

I have the phone and like it, however I'm searching for PC software for it(agenda, contacts, synchronization, etc) the works via BT.
As for the person complaining about the number of events ... if you really need over 100 then maybe you should be thinking about a business model. There are many minor inconveniences (like lacking mp3 playlists, yeah I can use folders but I have to advance manually or "deep" sound in the headset which nullifies increasing the volume) yet compared to others I have found the the + severely outweigh the - but that depends on personal needs.

This mobile I like so much because it is very stylish and beautiful especially for ladies. I really want to buy it for this reason and the price is very reasonable for any limited income people like me because I am a student.

I need a 2nd Phone, and I am stuck between this, a Samsung J700, Nokia 6300, and an SE W810I. I just wondered if you had any problems with the screen and ect, and which you think is better!

I have had this phone for 6 months and i have found no flaws. why do ppl not like this phone? some ppl want to do like 10 things at once of course the phone wont do it all! geez give the phone a break!
