I had bought this phone unlocked a month or two ago and I LOVE it! The only thing I'm trying to figure out is, since I'm in the states, and I have T-Mobile.. I wouldn't be able to use the internet until T-Mobile comes out with 3G where I'm at right? Thanks ^____^ And also, do any of you know where I can check for the latest software updates? I was never given a manual with my phone T_T

cloudz, 21 Aug 2008like previous post, if you received a message during textin... morei'm a heavy texter, so u mean when u're texting, n another msg is being received, the phone hangs? when it doesn't, will the msg u're texting disappear? does it hav like a menu which hav all the operations goin on like in SE?

like previous post, if you received a message during texting, it will hang....if it does, you have to reboot the phone...and i hate that...
you also will stuck not more but only 2 choices of themes...after 2 weeks of staring at it, i'm getting bored already...
but otherwise, it is magnificent gadget...i love this phone...believe me, you also will...

Can someone who owns this model please tell me about texts. If I switch the phone off for a number of days, there will be maybe 10 text messages waiting for me when I switch it back on. Will these messages be stamped with the time of arrival, or the time they were sent? The reason I ask is because I had a Nokia E51 which had this problem (i.e. messages were stamped with time of arrival, which is of no use to anyone, IMO), its annoying.

Very average phone. Great for useability but the reception is the worst of any phone I've had and it isn't down to my service provider. I've been with o2 for about 5 years and never had this problem. Battery life is pretty good, It will endure a day of constant phone calls and although the battery is near enough flat by night time, there arn't many phones that could exceed it.

LG is good in phone design, user interface.
only the thing I do not like is lack of WLAN function.

I've had the phone for less than two months now. One growing concern is that the slide is getting flimsier by use. The phone will crash if you receive a text while entering your message via-texting. The KF700's battery life is very poor. Approx. 2-3 hours talktime. Aside from those, with frequent charging, it's a very nice phone.

I found it ok when you go to mark all theres a check box next to inbox for anyone else who has the same prob :)

I've had this phone for about two weeks and its alot of fun!!
Is there a way to delete all messages at once or do you have to do it one by one? also with mark/unmark is there a mark all function for files and msgs? I can't find one so I'm assuming no...

You can lock the screen using the locking button on the side of the phone. I got this phone last week and although its good, was a bit disappointed with the feel of the phone when the keyboard is slid down. The top part feels too loose for my liking.
Its basically similar to the viewty just a bit slimmer and longer. It feels a bit heavier also.
Battery life is fantastic!! Charged for 12hours 1st charged and only went flat after 4 full days useage. Text messaging isnt that easy because of the very flat key board but its acceptable and ill get used to it.
Overall a great phone.

You can be sure that you wont dial anyone, bcz the phone has a ''lock'' key.. so.. when you push the lock key, the screen doesn't respond...
