hi guys
im just a kid
but would you guys recommend this phone to me?
im a music freak
so ddoes this phone have good audio quality?
i heard that many people couldnt plug it to the pc.
does anybody know the solution to this ?
im choosing the secret or the Nokia N82.
so im not sure which to choose.
but i like secret
because its really slim
and it looks really nice.

everyone's saying that the main trouble with the phone is the short battery life.. would someone care to explain how short is short?

I've installed java based dictionary on my phone. Everytime I have looked up a word and want to lookup next the control come out of dictionary and I have to launch dictionary again. Pl advise why it is not continuous till I want to refer?

Got the phone for 2 days, no problems connecting to my mac. As to transfer pictures from phone to PC, i first move or copy to the memory card and then it can be read from the PC.
Negative point:
1. Battery life too short
2. Touch screen can be very slow, it will have a delay for some function
3. Can't configure your own short cut
Overall 6 out of 10 for this phone

does any 1 know a way or software to turn the camra light in to a torch ? is there a program? the only way i have been able to do this is to record a video with the flash on ? email me at

Pathetic. Poor battery life and will not connect to PC or laptop even in mass storage mode making it absolutely useless.

I'm so stuck! I cannot get my phone to connect to my computer and show the pictures I've taken. I purchased a memory card, I selected Mass Storage from the options and have the Suite s/ware installed, I've tried all my USB ports and have tried swearing at it ;-), but although the phone shows as being connected there are no files there whether I go via the Suite s/ware (which won't let me select 'Contents' as it's blacked out) or via my computer using the relevant disk drive.
For one whole day I was pretty excited by the quality of the piccys the LG Secret takes... it's a shame I cannot actually access them.
Could this be the cause of a faulty USB cable? Or could it be that I'm missing one vital thing (I often miss the obvious!)? Please could someone point me in the right direction - I'd sooo appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.

Recently i purchased this new device ,and iam using this ,but currently iam having one big problem - connect this device to my computer,i already did the technical support from their professional people instuction, still i cant connect my phone to computer
USB not recognised.

Hi guys. I hear loads of you are having problems with the USB connections. I did aswell but you can easily fix it. I don't know about transfering contacts but if you just want to transfer files such as pictures and music then just put the phone in mass storage device mode and plug in your USB cable. Then you can use it like a memory stick, basicaly drag and drop files in the folders... It only works if you have a memory card in the phone though. If the connection keeps on dropping then just blow the USB cable contacts clean and try another USB port on your PC.
PS don't use the LG PC suite software... It's hopeless.

Hey I've only just got my LG Secret but I'm having problems connecting it to my laptop.
Whenever I click "contents" I just get a pop-up saying "connection is closed".
Anyone have any idea how to sort this out?

ok, ive conected the phone to the pc, seems that when i was installing pc suite a warning message came up about the drivers and i chose to noot install so thats why it wasnt working, but now im having a hell of a time editing my contacts! i edit them on the pc suite and then check my phone and they are still the same there, and ive looked for an option to transfer to phone and checked the help menus and instruction manual and im not making any sense of it, anyone?

I can't connect my LG secret to my laptop, the software takes ages to install, then my laptop can't find my phone, even though it is plugged in. Anyone else having this problem, or have any ways to sort it out?

I've really got to take mine to a service center I think, I am having to recharge mine like twice a day, the little battery symbol shows full, although i think i might not be recharging it all the way, I'm going to test it out recharging the battery with a universal charger i have that shows a green light when its full, anyone know what might be up with my previous comment about connecting it to my PC?

RE: battery life... my battery lasts about 4 days with constant use. i have foind that the usb charging is not as efective as the wall charger, so i would recommend, only use the usb charger as backup power.

hi iam so excitied about gettin my secret but i have a side kick lx and have songs on my microSD card already well when i put my card in the secret will all my songs get upload to my phone or will they not appearing meaning do i have to go bac to a pc and start over again??? please feed back needed!!!!!
