I sent a text animation off my se, and it came up on my secret, but I cant find them in the message menu to send to anyone else. they must be there as they look different.

is it true that video recorder can't save directly to external memory card and has to be manually moved to it?
if thats true then the movie clips recoreded will be short :(

sazin, 31 Jul 2008then why is such a big deal that this phone can play Divx? ... moretry using a dvd to mobile converter off the web, i use one by daniusoft and it converts films to mp4 or 3gp and they dont use so much memory. a divx film is about 750mb but wen you convert to mp4 its only 300md to 350mb. ive got 5 films and 2g of music on a 4g memory card and still got about 400mb left

i wanr to buy this phone...can anybody tell me if h had problems with the band?i had a simillary samsung and his band broke after two months...please answer me...a really like this phone.

and how can i find out if the file i have is Divx or Xvid?

the movies i download from interne... moredivx is a type of codec used to encode movie files.
some files downloaded from the internet will work, but a lot use xvid codec too, which this phone doesnt support unfortunatly.

Which is better?i dont have any of those phones but i am considering the Secret.
The plus sides (over the U900) is that it has a bigger screen, can play divx files so it can be fun to watch the videos on the go. not to mention the amazing video-recording capabilities of the Secret! i think Secret looks alot more stylish/mature/elegant :)
Both have 5MP camera and i guess we can say that they both are equally great, not amazing like G810,N82 but great.
Not sure about the music player tbh so i wont comment.
Battery life of Secret apparently is really poor though ive never had the chance to.
now you might already know these things but that all i can help you with :)

carot, 30 Jul 2008Is it true that the sliding mechanism scraches the keypad w... moreit scratches no. 6 & 9 on my keypad but has not left a permanent mark on it yet since I bought on 1st July. They should have made this a 12mm slim phone instead of pushing to the limits at 11.8mm.
Anyway, if the scratch mark is not permanent, it's fine with me.

1) how is the camera quality compared to SE W800 (2MP). i know the LG is 5MP but just want to compare.
2) What ear phones are provided with the mobile and how is the sound quality compared to SE W800.
