can someone please tell me how to change the ringtone... its a very confusing phone but its worth it. also can someone tell em how to lock the key pad it rings people on its own - please help...

      Got this phone in the special red colour from phones 4 U.
      Nice looking phone.
      If you want a stylish phone then this is for you.
      For a 1.3 camera, it's quality is very good.
      The length of the videos can be as long as the memory will allow.
      No expandable memory but there is enough of it to get quite a few mp3's and videos on the phone.
      8/10.

        hey the bottom light turns on whn u disable the power safe mode as well as the brightness control...and cool phone and good sound too...but i wudnt recommend coz the signal reception and voice clarity is comparitively low...i realy want to change bak to gud ol nokia...this phone is good for show off though

          i rely rely want this fone in pink it looks gawjus! i just dont wanna get it and find out its not actually that gd! cud sum1 who has the fone tell me wot its like plz thnx xx

            i bought this phone, love it but when i make/receive a call i can hardly hear the other person and for this reason im thinking of returning it. Does anyone know if there is a setting to turn the volume up, at the moment its on 5 and still im battling to hear! maybe im going deaf....

              TO "BRIAN" ; well yes, the LG KG800 is the same thing as the one fido or rogers sales..there's really no difference. it's the same thing but called another model.

                  Hmmm.
                  I've just purchased the phone hours ago and i'm crazy about it. the music's so cool. the only negative thing about it is that it doesn't give you an option for choosing your mp3 tunes for message tone and the camera's just a 1.3 mp.

                    i think your phones are great but if i got the pink phone what colour would the keypad light up? i just wanted to know cause i like the black one but i like the colour pink...

                    also the camras can you take videos, if you can how long would the video last... because on my old phone it only lasts for about 20 seconds and i'd like more time in videoing my friends. lol thanks

                      I think LG KG800 luks wicked! Ive been after a phone for months but cant find the right one! i really want dis phone but now dat iv heard all these negative comments bout it, im not sure if i should get it! please someone tell me whot they think i should do!

                        Im in the same delima, i love this phone and im interested in it because it looks so good. Ive read the opinions which is on the home page,where they have gone through everything and it seems...features wise its not in the category of the k800i but people who go for this phone are going to be the ones who want a phone which looks good.My main concern was when you make/receive a call, if the touch screen would cause problems when its against your ear, but there is a feature which deactivated the touch sensitivness when making calls.
                        Im sold and im going to buy this phone this evening! :)

                          ok i have to ask this. i've seen this phone on many different sites and on some it's called the lg kg800 and on others it's the lg tg800 i just want to know if theres a difference cuz i want one and in canada fido has it now and they call it the lg tg800. if someone could inlightin me that would be great.

                            now now...i'm in a dilemia after having hearad so many negative and positive reviews abt this phone...

                            I mean i love this phone alright? but not all ppl seem to have a very gd impression abt this phone.

                            SO SHOULD I BUY IT OR NOT?

                              I was reading your review regarding this phone. The best thing for you to do is to go online, or call your Svc Provider to find out if they have this phone on their list, as one of the devices that was sent to homologation. If it is, it means that you will be able to load your carrier settings over the phone , by calling one of their reps. If not, no matter what yo do, you will not be able to access any internet service . As far as I know, this phone is an overseas model, capable of working here, but not authorized yet from any carrier. That was what kept me from buying it . I have a nokia 7270 with t-Mobile, but it's not on their list and I cannot download anything, not even ring tones, for the same reason I told you above, therefore it was not worth it to exchange....We wholesale phones too, that's why I know the reason of your problem.

                                SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

                                I bought this phone for 350$, the pink one. KG800. The website said it was compatable with Cingular, so I spent 200$ to cancel my nextel account and get this phone with Cingular. I got it yesturday, I am paying 30$ a month for 3000 text and media messages and unlimited internet. However, everytime I go to get on the internet, it says "invalid settings". Cingular, Verizon, LG and who I got it from are pointing fingers at each other. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET THE INTERNET SETTINGS PUT ON THIS PHONE. I AM DESPERATE.

                                  well i was thinking about buying myself a lg chocolate,but i'm reading all this comments and don't know what to do now... can someone tell how it looks like when you recieve a message,does it say who is it from or..? and how many massages can you actually save in inbox?

                                    perhaps your phone is on "Power Save" mode why your keys don't light up. go to settings, display, power saving.... select "off" and they should light up

                                      i've had it for a couple months now, and i really like it. Memory is kinda small... but i deal with it. There's nothing much to the phone, basic features really... its really just a beautiful phone.

                                      only thing, i can't get to upload videos to it from my USB cable. i get the type of file it works with (3gp).. but it doesnt work. anyone know what's up with that?

                                        My friend bought me this phoneLG KG800s few months ago. I don't know how to download music and the front menu shows "Cingular" that I actually use "T-mobile" as my carrier.Anyone here can tell me why? Thanks!
