Just got the LG KG800 in white. I had previously been using the SE w900i. Once I inserted my SIM card, the phone book got all loco. People with first and last names in my original phone book start getting listed by last name then first name. Anyone know if there is a way to change this?

this is an awesome phone for style, but that is about it.
the heat sensored touch will some times scroll randomly through menus, the memory is not expandable and the features arnt the best. people who like this phone and are considering buying it please before you do, take a look at the samsung e900 and if that phone isnt more to your taste then im sorry for wasting your time, but if it is enjoy using a truly stylish phone with good features to keep you up to date with the market.

I've owned this phone for a few days now and I'm planning on trading it in. The design looks great but the performance is far from great. Don't bother with this one.

this fone is gr8 for work and play.ive had it about 2 months and cant find a fault.impeccable design.a truly innovative phone.

I would seriously advise anyone not to get this handset. I had 4 faulty ones and the longer I had it the more irritating it became.
1) Sound quality is very bad and cuts out frequently during calls. Sometimes there is no sound at all!
2) The touch sensitive keys are either non responsive or over sensitive.
3) The delay when you press a button and when the phone actually performs the operation is too long.
4) It does not scale down pictures to send them so if you have an image greater than 100k you cannot send it through mms.
5) You cannot use MP3 for message alert tone.
6) Ringing tones are very quiet and vibration is very weak (this equals many missed calls)
I'm sure I will think of many more negatives about this phone after submitting this. Poor poor phone.

hi. it is a sexy phone but lazy and my battery only last for a maximum of 2 days. is it suppose to be like that?

I have had this phone for a couple of months and i love it. I have had no problems with this handset. It is the most user-friendly phone on the market. Will stick by LG for life.

this has to be the most user-friendly, hassle-free phone i have ever owned....
i have owned a number of phones from many varying manufacturers....at the end of the day the decision comes down to your own personal preference...in my opinion, for functionality, ease of operation, simplicity, and style, you cannot find a better phone on the market than the KG800

Simply amazing...Love this design!!!!The most beautifull market...And guess what?It´s not a Nokia or a Motorola phone, it´s a LG!
Who would have kown that a phone like this would appear with a LG brand???
I hope i´ll buy it soon, i don´t care if it´s a 3G or not...

bad fone dont get it
had it for a few months now and there are many problems with it.
txt msgn is waYY 2 slow, fone is 2 plastic, battery life is a big problem and the camera is dodgy
even my old samsung d500 is better

i really like this phone...i want the white chocolate...But after reading many negative comments, i'm not so sure anymore. i also like the Sony Ericsson W810...which one should i get? i like this phone because of the design, and the other phone because of the great functions.

i just bought a new LG KG800 pink today and i am so excited it looks amazing picture quality is great and the touch pad is genius love it !!

i lurve dis fone but i've xperienced a lot of problems.
1) when listening to mp3, i need 2 exit in order to read messages
2) i cant set mp3 tone to my messages
3) battery life lasts for 2 days eventhough i did not listen to any mp3s
4) the touchpad goes berserk once in a while eventhough i did not touch it. it REALLY is sensitive
5) the phone hangs occasionally, so i need to switch off and on again
6) the call quality is sooo very poor. it gets disconnected frequently
BUT... i still love the DESIGN. purely the DESIGN not the functions

Tempermental phone, I have had endless trouble, dont even look at buying this phone, because if you do you WILL KICK YOURSELF.............................

The Lg KG800 ..my opinion is that tjis phone it has a good design and it works very well ,the battery power stays 4 days.Good job LG keep it this way i like all the phones.

I got my new White Chocolate a few days ago and how thrilling. It will take a very short time to readjust your touch for the navigation sensors...yes I call them sensors...they are so easy. It may lack a little in the bells and whistles but it makes up for it in Sleek Sexy and Cool. The sounds are amazing and it hooked right up to my computer with no problem.
The downside I'm seeing is I always drop my phones and I am going to be really upset if I drop this and mar the finish.
Almost as good as getting new jewelry and twice as cool.

Govo - In reply to your question, i work with the phones. It's a great looking phone, but many have come back into our store because it starts to "do its own thing" it goes in and out of menus all by itself. this may only be a select few but i have seen this happen to a few. it's personal choice. good luck with that.
