This is a well known problem with this phone.

Something you have to live with I'm afraid.

I have the KG800 the feel, movement and touch pad much better than the E900 ( my daughter has one) not as Hi-spec as the E900. My only problem so far is with the bluetooth I can not get it the send information between devices, it will pair no problem but thats it. Devices include, earpeice, E900 and car. Anyone with same problem or any answers??? Thanks

          A few quick questions...
How many text messages does the phone hold?
Do the keys really not light up? i'm sure on the review on here it said they did. I could however be imagining things...
Also in the review it says it smells like chocolate?! Now THAT would be an added bonus to kill cravings..

I played around with one in phones4u and i loved it. But they were obsessed with trying to sell me the new samsung, but as my current samsung crashes at least once a day and takes half an hour to restart, im staying away from the fat ugly thing

Anyone who thinks a Sony Ericsson W810i is as attractive-looking as an LG Chocolate must be totally blind! Sony Ericsson's are such "me too" phones and are getting rather boring, as they always seem to be based around the same tried and tested form factor. The LG is a statement, it's something different (it's screen isn't low quality) and it's far better than the "average" Samsung E900 (even though the Samsung has more features, it doesn't make it better).

what shall we do? LG chocolate will be imitated by some other manufacturer and I think this phone is very very way cool and guess what? LG chocolate is selling well and that proves it has a superior function and design.

What a decent bit of kit. At last a manufacturer makes a phone that looks the business and has something world first - the touch nav pad. I've had mine for 6 weeks now - okay, it may not have the 'uber' specs that other phones have, but as an overall package, this piece of kit rocks!

LG, design champion, has done it again! When you first lay your eyes on this little number, it will be hard to look the other way. Clean design blends in with alure of it being a slider, and the see glow the buttons give off it makes for one mesmerising experience. The fashion conscious must not be seen without one! It has beauty but lacks brains. The feature set is rather, SO LAST YEAR!

Why does everybody love this phone so much? Its so average. Ok it looks cool, but thats all. The screen quality is low, and the buttons are too sensitive. It doesnt even have expandable memory or a camera above 1.3 megapixels.Plus the interface is notg the best. The sony ericsson W810i, is a much better phone, and looks just as good.

WOW! What can I say? I just returned a Samsung E900 for an LG Chocolate and find it a much more enjoyable phone all together. The Samsung had more features (2 megapixel camera, EDGE support, expandable memory and so on), but it was poorly designed. The touchpad was awful, over-sensitive and made for a anoying experience (I had it for just two days before returning it).

The Chocolate on the other hand is first class. It may be a "lesser phone" than the Samsung, but I would rather have a phone I enjoyed using with less features rather than a phone I hated using with more features. I think so many people these days are losing siht of the fact that it's a PHONE! Every other feature you get (MP3 player, Camera, WAP browser and so on) is a bonus, not the be all and end all of what is (after all) a PHONE!

LG seem to really be stepping up in the game at the moment and if they continue like this (and by the look of the KG810, KG320, KE600 (and especially the KG920), they will do), will soon be at the very top of the ladder for class handsets. Well done LG, this phone will go down as a classic (I'm sure) and I cannot wait to see what the coming years holds.
