Meant to answer this before but the default security/pin codes for LG's tend to be 0000.

hi the LG phonw is amazing...there only one issue...but im not sure whether its a fault with my phone or whether all the phones are the saem...but its lucky i can text without having to look at the keypad because it doesnt have any lights...so texting my boyfriend in the middle of the night can be a bit tricky...can anyone please tell me whether it is just my phone or is this how LG have designed it...besides that the phone is amazing...im the envy of all my friends!!!

@Gerri - It looks to me like you mean you want to send emails. You can send upto 100KB of files to an email address using MMS which will use up three of your SMS allocation. To use the email function you need to put the accounts details into your phone and you need an email provider that has SMTP/POP access such as Gmail or your ISP.

Actually same or worse features as the new BenQ-Siemens EL71 (also with silver or black colors), LG has no card slot no speakerphone.. and much more expensive, see prices in http://www.mobile-gadgets.net/shop/home.php (LG KG800 425€, Benq-Siemens EL71 244€)... marketing trap..

Person about a password - if you meant security code then it should be 0000

Gerri - It's not possible to download Hotmail straight to the Chocolate as Hotmail don't provide settings to do it. If you sign up to O2's email then you should be able to download emails straight to the phone. Or contact your current internet serice provider (who should also provide you with email) and they should be able to provide you with settings for email. You should then be able to check your email on your phone too.

Also, went onto the LG mobile club site and tried to send a game to my phone. Again,it sends an sms giving me url link to the site to download but won't let me do it. Something about not having appropriate software for phone or 'this site requires javascript' etc. can anyone help with this?

help me for I feel i'm going insane!

I am with O2 and I just tried to send some pics to an email address but it's asking me to check account settings. I click on account and it's asking for all sorts of info like server address etc. I spoke to O2 who asked me what email I want to use so I said I guess hotmail. They replied that I have to contact 02 or my internet ISP as I have to pay them to access email on my phone!!! What??? I used to be with Orange and used to email pics and check my hotmail account on the way site no problem. Can anyone shed any light. All i want to do is occasionally check my email and send pics to various email addresses!

                          Thanks in advance!

i have this phone and i agree with the msg alert tone being really quiet and the speaker when i phone ppl,i find you cnt hear ne1 wen the volume is on max but if u leave it on 4 its ok,a bit crackly though. Me n my partner figured by goin on profiles setting one of them with the tones off or something and leaving the alert on the alarm goes off but msg and calls dont which is the only way to use ur alarm!!

but forgot to say that apart from that the phone is really nice and quite user friendly compared to my old Motorola RAZOR.

Not as feature packed as some on the market but a nice handset all the same.

When looks are taken into account too this is definatly a phone to be considered for a new purchase.
