Anyone who opt for iphone are purely due to their low esteem and lack of confident towards oneself, they are borrowing apple image to camouflage their true identity...LG an upcoming brand enough flare to dethrone western manufacturer and they should pray harder cause Jap has not really focus in this playing field yet, should they do..i doubt the west can survive, look at the major LCD makers nominated the industry globally, consider toyota was a substandard car 40 years ago.. and now ..comparable to some of the giants... watch out for eastern manufacturer.. they are here to stay...kudos...

o2 are the most expensive network, up until about two weeks ago you had to pay £57 for the I-Phone on a £45 a month tariff with limited minutes and texts. Orange and T-Mobile are by far the cheapest UK networks. I really should know being that i work full time trying to sell these networks.

Ive had the phone for 2 days now and I love it. I have owned or extensively used nearly every higher-end phone and this has to be one of my favorites. My top 3 picks for favorites would be: LG Arena, iPhone 3g(on 3.0 firmware), and SE Xperia x1. Nokia N95 and 96 are also great. The Dolby for Mobile equalizer is unmatched in any device. The bass is somewhat of a miss but it can be overlooked. The size of the phone is one of the big pluses. I haven't had much of a problem with lagging. Like the review says, it could use a little bit more "toys" in the box. Overall, great phone.

One problem i have found. The "slo-mo" video feature is so bad. My girlfriend has the "RENOIR" and the 120 fps video plays back in full screen and silky smooth, where as the "ARENA" is just jerky, poor quality, i've tried all kinds of settings but its still bad!! Is it a software error or is that how it is? Very disapointed by this.

hi guys,had this for about 4 days, just luv it :)
itz feature packed and fun to use.
Just one minor thingy whenever i try to connect through mass storage option nothing happens and computer wont detect it. PC Suite option works fine though. Any ideas why this happens ??

recently received the phone as upgrade on t-mobile uk network> overall very touch responsive and good phone. only concerns are the compatibility issues???
Does anybody know what is the operating system on LG ARENA. Because i am not able to install windows compatible softwares on this phone
also can i install co-pilot on this phone??
please any experts help me out

From looking at your comments, I can guess you are a girl and perhaps in the age range of 13-15. It is fine that you love your iphone but do not belittle other brands. Why don't you go to your iphone forum and talk about all the goods of your iphone instead of getting so many enemies on this LG board. The simple reason for this is you are just jealous of the innovation of both LG and Samsung as they roll our one after another good looking feature phones. You are just jealous about the rich specifications of this and cannot stand the threat of being dethroned by Arena. You put yourself in a defensive position when you hear and see so many great phones of other brands in the market. By doing that, you try to show all the pros of the iphone so you can justify to yourself why you still love your iphone. Keep in mind, the UI is not the only thing to judge. There are so many other features that you have to consider, such as camera, video etc. Once again, you may defend that you don't take picture and video with you phone. You don't need video calls as you use your phone mainly for texting and web surfing due to your inability of understanding other features. You may also defend that the iphone OS 3.0 is coming for which you will have cut and paste, bluetooth file transfer and the next genaration iphone will have a 3.2 mp camera. Perhaps this is big deal for you but honestly, I have all these features on my 4 year old Samsung D900. Anyways, I hope you do not take my comments personally and leave this forum peacefully before creating so many enemies.

I got it today. somewhat disappointed, I still owned LG kc renoir which is better. opera mini and some java applications that can be installed in Renoir cannot work properly in Arena. I think there are still some bugs to be fixed. Hope for an update by LG in the near future. Finishig also inferior to Renoir.
Video player cannot play videos taken on Reoir too.

perfect connectivity ... moreThanks very much for replying :) i have now upgraded my phone to the arena and it comes 2morro :D Orange firstly wanted £195 for it but i said ill go else where so they decided they wanted to keep me as a customer and i have the phone for free, 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet access for £29 a month :)!!

I was looking for the mobile in a shop and compared it to my iPhone 3G. I can tell you right now that the iPhone 3G won't be readable on sunlight and the quality of the picture is much lower than the Arena has. The touching experience was much more smooth than with iPhone. The screen itself is much better than the iPhone and the phone as well. Overall it had a very good look and seems the quality of the phone is great. The iPhone felt very cheap and plasticy I would prefer The Arena over the iPhone any time :P

The screen itself is much smaller and the phone aswell. Overall it had a very cheap look and seems the quality of the phone is not that great. I would prefer iPhone any time :P
