The LG Arena features a 3-inch WCGA touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera, 8GB internal memory and a microSDHDC card slot. It includes the 3D S-Class user interface offering touch-based 3D menus and fast, smooth 3D transitions between menus, thanks to the AMD processor.
The Arena KM900 supports 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps mobile network and WiFi connectivity. It has also A-GPS support with geo-tagging function. THe phone plays DivX and Xvid video files and offers FM tuner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

i want this phone on my upgrade and im gutted that the o2 shop dont have ne!! if they dont get any soon im gonna go to carphone warehouse and get it frm there.
is it a good phone? it will be my first touch screen.

You can put a photo or image or wallpaper? as in... morewallpapers are just for standby-screen. no other screen can be adjusted.
(but picture-wallpapers would be almost useless on this icon filled screens.)

We sell the KM900 with 16GB internal memory and a free 8 GB memorycard. And I so wanna have it because it's great. Never liked LG but saw this phone working and it owns.

Can't say for sure 'cos I don't have one....yet! That's how it is on every phone I've had before though.

Just got the phone today and initial impressions are good.
I have a few questions though.
Firstly you should know Im NOT currently connected to the network properly yet..i dont think. I cant make phonecalls yet which is why i think this. Does this mean some of the functions within the handset wont work properly until im connected e.g. i tried to use the web and it wouldn't connect. Is there a better browser I could download and install on this? From where?
ALSO HOW THE HELL do u use the FM transmitter? Ive worked out FM radio alright but how do u use the transmitter. ALSO for the radio are other ppl having to plug their headphones in to use it ALL the time. You can switch to speaker once the headphones are in but if you take them out it doesnt work...seems absolutely stupid...how can this be fixed?

Have you tried to look at youtube videos over wifi ? If so does yours work or do you get "wifi not supported"?
I notice that Jay has the same problem as me, I have spoken to my service provider and they have told me to try and do a software install (like for like - no new versions yet), I have also asked LG and they have said they haven't heard of this problem from any other users. (Is this really the case)?

The speaker sounds perfectly when on a call also.

i was thinking about sending it back after the first day, because there is a lot of comfort lost when you come from a symbian phone. the real o/s feeling with multitasking of tons of apps, switching from one to the other.
on the other hand, the o/s is very fast for everyday usage. i think i can live with the limitations for a while. i won't get a nokia-phone as long as they won't build a n-class touchphone with the size of the arena.
if size wouldn't matter, i'd thought about the n97, but i dont want another brick in my pocket.
just for the records:
the touchpad is very easy to type with.
there are lots of phones for disabled out there with big keys and high contrast display - get one of them if you're having problems with this keyboard - a standard phone wont be the right one for you.
you can install as many java applications you like and you won't need an app-store of lg - there won't be no additions to the operating system, just tested java apps you can get everywhere you want.
the camera is better than all s/e cybershot's i have used. (3 new ones in the last 6 month)
i have serious doubts that the many minor but annoying flaws will all be addressed in further FW-updates. thats the main reason a symbian o/s would have been the best basement for s-class u/i. i don't think lg will put that much work in it's own o/s.

The question I have is as follows:
Has anyone found a way to implement skype? I contacted skype support a week ago and they jave not bothered to reply.
Also ICQ would be handy :)
