I'd like to make a comment regarding the video clip presented in the review. The 2 primary things that a phone should do is CALL and TEXT/EMAIL. So Pleeeeeease, if ever you will create a video clip presenting the phone, please make sure you show how these things (CALL/TEXT/EMAIL) are done in the featured phone. The Camera, Video and Music department should come after those 2. I am very reluctant to buy touchscreen phones due to text or email input issues using touchscreen. However, having read in other sites that the LG Arena has smooth and responsive touchscreen that makes texting a breeze, I wanted to see an actual video of it doing a text message. I got dissapointed that the video clip presented in the overview doesn't show it.

i've seen tons of videos. my remaining questions are:
can the wallpapers of the 4 visible cube sides be configured ? these green-blue-violet-orange shaded sides aren't really "gorgeous". :-)

are there more widgets available than these 10 you can use in the demo. all movies show just these ten. samsung allows to add thousand online widgets.

                samsung ultra s - 0.20 head 0.37 body
samsung ultra touch - 0.19 head Body 0.32

not too shabby, now thats what i like to see. of course they are both missing wlan, which is a shame. but other than that, pretty strong specs still.

b4rt, 26 Mar 20090,19 W/kg :-) as long they don't have to add stickers wit... moreyeah you're right, its a joke tho. before my current phone, the first phone i had, was quite a high SAR rating, and it used to give me headaches whenever i used it. Havnt had a single one with my current phone, shame its so old now. So i always look for a low rating in a new phone.

i believe the samsung i looked at with 0.19 had pretty decent speaks, i *think* the only thing is was mising was wlan. which i was suprised about becuase i was expecting it to be missing more like you said. i'll try and find out the model.

Wow, this looks really good. In my opinion this would beat the IPhone by far. Hope to see it on the market soon.

Wesker, 25 Mar 2009i see you got my msg before it was deleted, what is that ab... more0,19 W/kg :-)
as long they don't have to add stickers with SAR ratings to the phones, like the energy class ratings of refrigerators, companies won't spend money on it.

even the specs in this forum don't care about it.

but i think that 0,19 W/kg is hardly possible with a hsdpa/wlan/bluetooth phone, and you have to remove features for optimal placement of the antennas. don't think they'll manage it with the Omnia HD. :-)

I don't understand why people keep saying: "Meh, this looks just like the iPhone and it's ugly..."

                                  Hmm let's see.

Yes, both have kind of a rectangular form with rounded egdes and both have a Touchscreen and no Keyboard. But that's it guys!

If the Arena would be entirely black I'd admit that they look similar. But that would be the same for like 90% of all Touchphones available.
But it doesn't...actually the Arena seems to have an even better build quality due to it's aluminium body.
                                  (except plastic back)
