marzel, 29 Oct 2010how to activate my gprs... itried somany times to activate,... moreon my unit auto profile is the biggest problem.
after several time changimg usim card with other from different provider which has different gprs setting parameter my unit will have bugs like freeze, auto restart, etc
need reset setting from phone setting menu before insert other provider usim card
in the worst case, may need 3X factory reset

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2010I got one of these phones when they first came out with the... moreIf your screen freezes when phone rings, just remove the protection cover. I's because most covers becomes yellowish after a few months, then inferferes with the proximity sensor.

This is the worst phone i have EVER bought...It hangs ALL the time...during a call the phone will suddenly switch itself off....horrible phone. I will never buy an LG ever again (whether it be mobile or any other electronic device)

marzel, 29 Oct 2010how to activate my gprs... itried somany times to activate,... moregprs setting should be done automatically by auto profile on ur arena except ur service provider doesnt exist in auto profile database list on ur unit.
if it doesnt, u can set by urself if you know ur provider setting parameter. All is in the connectifity setting menu.
Browser setting >> Profile = to activate ur selected parameter setting
also check the Network Selection
Access Point + Internet Profile = to fill ur service provider parameter setting

I have been using for a couple of years now, and I have had a single problem with it.
I have choosen it after a long research and it is and it was the most reliable phone on the market.
It is slim and fast.
The price droped really fast. It was the best value for the money. Omnia was something similar, but about the same features cost 50% more.
Now, after so much time, I have still hard time to replace it.
Samsung Galaxy is the only one I can think of but I still do not see the huge difference to pay 600-700USD for it.
I am thinking to get a 7 inch tablet: Archos 70 (new), or Samsung. The Samsung I think overpriced.
SE, Motorola, and Nokia just so much behind in everything.
Frankly, I can not understand why people still buy brick with limited features and very flacky performance.

Don’t buy this LG ARENA is suck, lack of support, lots of problems aftersale. Much better To Buy Samsung Jet or Samsung Wave it has good quality sound,Good resolution,good camera,nhd video & videolights,high processor,dowloadable application. Jet and wave is highend phone Worldwide.

I got one of these phones when they first came out with the promise that it was fantstic. Needless to say it wasnt. I had problem after problem. The screen freezes or switches itself off. I cant answer calls when it rings or it just doesnt ring. I have the very latest software and it still desnt work! Not ammused and definatly wouldnt recommend to anyone. Its just one huge pain in the bum!

you can have this for only 15k on a discounted amountin Robinsons Galleria... most of cellphone stores there has a weekend sale..

B()YkA, 21 Oct 2010hey guys i will buy it after 7 days .buy it or what.and wha... moreJust dont buy it.... been using it for a year or so.. nice in the beginning but problem after problem show up after few month of use... now it freeze five times a day, not to mention the capacitive screen is so error now sometimes i tap the upper side of screen it register as if i tap the lowest side, freaking error

my recent firmware is V10h, with all previous firmwares I cant download signatured opera mini 4.2
my advice is visit your nearest LG repair centre to get latest official firmware for your country, n then do 3X factory reset. Then try to download boltbrowser again from :
