hi guys... hi girls...
please if anyone of you have V10i firmware version, could you tell me if that version can download a signature opera mini 4.2. ? If it can I would like to try to get it bcoz I need virtual d-pad on my browser. I always have opera mini n bolt browser on my black arena.
I like my recent V10h but sometime I change the usim card with other from different provider n that may bring the bug back.

This goes to the all he people who has problems with mass storage mode.
I also thought it didnt work, but all i had to do is wait 30 to 2 minutes and a half after connecting it, that solved my problem.

LG KM900 Arena - Shokes And Surprises
I bought this phone in a liquidation sale due to its high end features at low cost of INR 12000 (Against 20000 regular price) from the mobile store in Lucknow and then started the chain of shocks and surprises. Here are those
Shocks
1. Poor s/w with bug in all available firmwares
2. Different features work with different firmwere
3. Indian firmware 10E has Music Player not working
4. Need more then expert to get Arena working properly
5. Pretty ordanary GPS with poor 1 km selectivity
6. Poor sunlight readablity
7. Poor battery life. Exhausts in a day
8. Mono FM Radio (Even LG KP 106b has stereo)
9. iTunes M4A not played unless corrected
10. Music Player can't sort tracks by Album only
11. Issues with Windows 7 PC Connectivity
Surprises
1. Extraordanary 3D S-Class UI
2. Dedicated 3D Grapics Accelerator
3. Stunning Multimedia and Gaming Performance
4. Capable 5 MP Camera and D1 Camcoder
5. Inbuilt good Image Editor
6. Preinstalled Movie Maker
7. Excellant Audio Quality
8. Very Nice Ergonomics like iPod Touch
9. Just 105g
10. Good Earplugs
11. Mac support
Suggestions
Use UK Firmware 10P for most stable arena. Do not upgrade firmware your own unless you are trained. Is difficult, need many drivers and settings before doing. 3X Factory reset is rubbish thing. Actually the problem is when factory reset is done, Arena cant erase everything properly hence sometimes manual erases and multiple factory resets may be needed to correct problems. To play M4A, use dBpoweramp M4A utilities to first extract AAC out and then convert it back to M4A. This is a lossless process and takes a second for a song. Arena sounds excellant but do not compare it with N91 or i450. Still better then most of XMs. Use large cone headphones with elevated bass responce to get best possible output. Nokia HS62 worked best for me.

Is it possible LG KM900 purchase & used in Singapore can be used in the Philippines then bring to Canada if it was brought there... does it have to unlock the unit as per area code or simply upgrade the unit & insert SIM ...
Need immediate feedback......

hi, can anyone help me, coz im hving trouble wth my arena, i ordered my phone from other country, and when i received it, i only used it for an hours, when the battery drains and charged it, its only display the start up screen and did not run, i reinstalled the battery and usim, then its appear that way, again and again, pls anyone can help me,. tnx.

Atif, 18 Jun 2010You can install the firmware 10i by changing country option... moresince last 3 days bug rise again. If I tap "acces point" in the connectivity menu, the phone goes to restart. It because sometimes I changed usim card from different provider as you can see my posts came from some different IP. I always post to this forum from my arena.
it need 2nd 3X fact reset since I got V10h to fix the bug.
I've never upgraded the firmware by myself, LG repair centre did it all, officially n free of charge. But now I have to do it by myself.

But i am living in france and even i install 10i and really it is much better than 10h

got my Arena few days ago...
before that, I had Nokia E52 so the batt backup on Arena seems preety poor. how long your batt lasts? mine is good for about 12 hrs with heavy usage... :(
do you know any site where I can download apps? ...beside mobile 9 and getjar... ;)

My recent V10h isnt perfect, but it is good 1. Since I got it couple month ago, till now still works great. I like to play around with my phone a few hour every day.

there's a mistake on my previous post about search option on music player.
just tap the down arrow on the keypad after typing search word. It works well.
