unfortunely, LG Repair centre told me that LG stop making new firmware for Arena, that means Arena will have bug forever.
Fortunely, mine with V10h firmware version only has minor bug in music player, after 3X factory reset. it's not a big deal.
For me it's a real touch screen phone. Mean while I like to call Samsung Jet & Nokia 5800 as a press screen phone rather than touch screen.
Arena UI is user friendly.
It's pleasure to operate it.

even Jet is costly at 14k.....so arena brings tht prce advantage...
so u bought this phone...how is the performance....i read in the forum...many performance issues.....you faced any?
i m confused to buy Samsung Spica...Android ph...3MP(no flash)...200 mb.......or...Arena with alot more on offering........i m tilted towards spica..oly bcs of Android OS...wch is future...and because..of performance issue with Arena and now discontinuty of the phone........
I will be buying in this week only....pls give advices.....it will be of imense help..

Abhinav, 09 May 2010I came to know...the ph is availble around 13k inr..bt the ... moreAffirmative...they say it is a special scheme from LG and it is retailing at INR 11,500/- in Jaipur 'till stocks last'...got one on Saturday....yes it IS a bargain at this price....especially for those looking for media capabilities wit huge in built memory(8GB in this case + micro SD extension claimed up to 32GB) However Samsung Jet is still much better...

It is in communication but its just label and no icon so i can not click/touch it...but it used to be in multimedia before...

i'll get mine tomorrow! that is for promo only, you can see other sellers have it and sells for around P18,000.. and that is for limited time only. KC910 also is in sale, P9,500 only but others sell it for P16,300..

Rubinakiba, 30 Apr 2010What do you mean with 3x factory reset?to make LG Arena on it's best performance 3X factory reset is a must. Otherwise you'll be a regretfull Arena owner, bcoz it may seem like a rubish phone.
Do that after updating the firmware or whenever yours has a lot freeze n restart problem.
But afterall, your phone may stiil have minor bug depend on the firmware version, so try lastest firmware.
Read my post on 2010-03-23 to know how to do it.

If you have a LG Arena that's working properly without problems, consider yourself lucky.
A lot, and I mean a lot of us are not as fortunate. I have to call it as it is, this phone is terrible, quality wise.
If you are considering buying this phone, ask yourself first, "Do I feel lucky?"
