I have just send my LG KM9000 Arena for repair for the 2 time first time it was just starting and then dead and then starting again. this time SMS and internet are fine but try to recive a call the screen goes black and i cant recive and same thing happents when I try to call my answering machine

hi all,
i bought my km900 2 months ago. i tried to update without concerning which firmware was on it. after updating its firmware was V10j (Turkey). there were some bug while playing mp3. i decided to update a new firmware but it did not find it by itself (lg update tool). so i flashed it to V10P_00 and the same problem continues. i have a nokia E65 too. its java benchmark is less than km900 but i can play games more fluently on E65. KM900's performance is dissappointed me.

I've had my LG arena for almost a month now, my original firmware(v10g_00) only had some minor bugs(T9 and id3 tags for my mp3's) and only froze once. I then updated my firmware to v10p_00(UK) and did a 3 times factory reset and now everything works perfectly, the only downside is the battery life(rated at only 1000mah) yeah it sucks and i need to charge it every other day. I do not know why many people complain about this phone but mine works like a charm, I suggest you upgrade to v10p as it is the best firmware out there as of now, haven't experienced any bugs yet. From Romania, 24 Apr 2010Hello dudes, i want to ask you some quoestions about this t... morethe main disavantage of this phone are batery duration n there's no free bug firmware.
if you choose it to suit your need, try several firmware version to select which bug you may live with. You can ask LG repair centre to update the firware version or do it by yourself from internet. Dont forget 3X factory reset.
Actually S Class UI is cool.
Video streaming on WLAN, sms, etc are fine on my unlock black Arena (read my last post).

Hello dudes, i want to ask you some quoestions about this telephone(the LG Arena).Firstly, i want to begin with the price.Here, in Romania, the price is about 200 EUROs, i think it's acceptable, from a romanian website.I want to ask the owners of the Arena which are the main disadvantages in buying it.I know the Operatin System is bad, it can't support so many applications than others.But, how are the calls, messages, the touchscreen itself,how it is working?
Are there problems with the Internet(WLAN)? I heard that you can't watch YouTube videos, because it doesn't have the Flash platform, how I could fix it?

Regarding Win7, software installs but all is get is "Entry Point Errors" when I try to do anything at all. All the DLL's seem to be missing somewhere or not registered.

Seems there's still no perfect firmware for Arena.
My unlock black Arena with V10h (unspecified) version still has bug in music player. Sometimes It gets mute by itself after playing several songs. Have to stop n play again to fix it.
Fortunely, 3X factory reset make it free from freeze n restart problem (my post on 2010-03-23).
If you try it, it may give different result depends on firmware version, unlock/locked.
Hope LG release a free trouble firmware.

its really good and nice shape.......we hope its gud for girls.because LG all in touch.so easy for operating and touch flow is very gud forgirls. i really like to gift Arena to girls.i already gifted to my Girl friend. so guys.......keeep it up. and after that see the difference between you and your Girl Friend.

I too have the same issue under windows 7. I cannot get the damn USB driver to install and I have changed the privalige type to run as admin as suggested with no change. I have also changed the compatibility mode to Vista SP2 which also failed to help. What gives? Help someone, please.

If you have downloaded and installed the program, go to the Properties/Compatibility. Check the 'Run as Administrator'.

How can I get the KM900 to sync with Windows 7. Major install issues and cannot get it to work despite many many efforts with website downloads etc. USB LG Driver simply will not install.
