I thought it was my d... moreI agree about the firm ware, its too difficult to know which to upgrade to, but i hear the latest one which is the best is V10_00 which even supports you tube streaming over wifi. mine is V10b and it has a few minor bugs but nothing like urs. I wish firmwares were more general like nokia's and Sony ericsson. There are countless firm wares for different countries and mobile carriers. this is just stupid!!!! I would like to know what to upgrade to cause mine is open and not locked.

Seriously you guys, this phone SUCKS! I thought it was my dreamphone: it looks great, lots of functions, nice interface and cheap! Well, since I got it, I've only had trouble =(
It crashes all the time, it's a really slow phone and there are like 100 firmwares, and they all contain serious bugs. It's really hard to update your firmware and there is like NO support from LG! Seriously, believe me: DON'T EVEN CONSIDER BUYING THIS FAILPHONE!

It's a wonderful handset and has almost all features ticked off,the only problem is that the version sold in India has been devoid of an FM Transmitter, can this be installed later once the hndset has been purchased?

anyone having problems connecting with wifi? are there certain settings that im supposed to configure? cant figure out whats wrong. Cant even connect to a unsecure wifi network...:(

Updating a firmware on your LG KM900 is easy.. there are a lot of sources around, its also listed in the LGarena forum (list of latest firmware)... however, its common sense NOT to download firmware that is not listed UNDER the country YOU are USING your LG arena. example, an LG arena phone purchased in Hong Kong (last May 09) is being use in Canada under Rogers mobile network... upon upgrading the firmware, one should USE the orignal contry the phone was being sold and intended for use. therefore, the Hong Kong LG KM900 Arena purchased in Hong Kong and being use in Canada will work well under the Hong Kong given updated firmware which is presently offering the KM900AT_V10h only use the firmware where the phone originated... regardless where u are using it and whoever the mobile provider is.

stam, 10 Jan 2010why my music player didn't shows any mp3 i put in? please s... morei do heve that problem with "G" version after i restore to factiry setting. but what im doing just downgrade the version to "D" (that what i have) then i do upgrade again in G version in the phone works fine.. all multimedia files (music, film, dll) works great. but if u want the simple way, maybe u can restore it to original setting via 1809#*900# (service code). hope this help u.GBU

V10h(unspecified)
V10h_00
V10v_02
V10w_04
V10o_01
V10o_02
Music Player doesn't detect songs, perform several hard resets and erasing all music files may fix this.
Alternatively, you may need to update to another firmware and try to avoid the above listed firmware, so that to get rid of this issue.

my wifi is fine, had no problem at all.
about PUK or PIN2. PIN1 u can have it almost in every provider u use, but for PIN2 u need to contact ur operator provider to ask if they support PIN2 option or not, if they doesnt, no use u try to input a dosen code in PIN2. coz it depend with ur card provider or ur service number. so it would be wise if u contact ur provider to get the right information about PIN2 or PUK, coz once u reach the limit of wrong PUK, ur phone number or or phone chip will be no longer can be use anymore (*dipend ur operator, but almost operator did that). good luck

Hi, I currently own an LG ARENA, the only issue i am having with it, is the wi-fi it disconnects itself after 10 mins? Has anyone else experierenced this? Does anyone no how to correct this Issue? The Phone is running on the latest firmware update.
