any straight comparison (advantages/problems) b/w Arena and Samsung-S8003 (Jet)??? which is better phone???pls suggest...i dint see a good overall-review for Arena on the other hand all scales tipping toward the Air-borne JET??? pls pen-down ur precious/generous opinions???Thx

Dredd_Nilo87, 28 Nov 2009I had this phone a week ago, and when the 1st time I saw it... morei have the same problem like u too when i first bought it i couldnt open the music but after resetting the handset memory everything is ok.i can open the music player but something it freez when i use camera. you can reset your handset memory by go to phone setting than memory manager.

I just bought arena a few days ago, and found out that there is a problem on web browsing, which is that, as soon as i had browsed for several pages using wi-fi, the phone says that "internal memory is full". Then, it automatically exits to the menu.
I did not open more than one tab, and as i know the phone has an internal 8gb of memory.
Can anyone tell me why this happen?
Do i need to turn off the cookies and cache in the setting?

I had this phone a week ago, and when the 1st time I saw it, I was amazed then i tried every features specially multimedia. I am very excited to try the music player because of DOLBY MOBILE i select it by touch and it opens but prompt me "NO MUSIC" so i immediately uploaded some music that I copied from my SE walkman phone. But when i tried to open again the Music player it just hanged saying "Please Wait" i wait and i wait for a few hours till the battery drains but nothing happens I delete the music that i upload and tried again same thing happens "Please wait..." It is very disappointing. Not just that the phone sometimes hanged or freeze when i try to open gallery or my stuff and when i change the homescreen to multimedia it stop. The TOUCH screen not is not responding. I have to removed the battery to restart it. I follow the instruction from lge.com about upgrade but i cannot found any S/W firmware to download i found only PCSYNC bundle which is the same software included on the package. I never experience something like this on every SE phones that I had before... Any suggestion please... My KM900 must be fix before or else i will smash it with hammer

the lg arena is great, does loads of different things, logical user interface, organization, menus, and can use it with one hand, good for a touch phone! but for the lg arena 2 i would like to see a faster processor to help performance especially in the web browser, and a better battery as it's not long till i have to charge again...

i got the lg km900 arena and so far no prob.only the battery goes fast.but it isi one of the best phones i have ever seen.after the i-phone its the lg arena

if you go to lgmobile.com there is an up-grade for this phone.done it last week with-out any prob.

repeat: mon-fri(everyday doesnt seem to work)
snooze 5 mins, always sound/vibrate,9.30am
thats about it i guess.
btw.. i have 2 problems with my phone. SOMETIMES i recieve calls and i attempt to awnser or call a missed call, the phone just hangs or, the touch screen just doesnt work for awhile.
2nd problem, sometimes the accelerometer doesnt seem to work well in messaging. liek for example when i turn the phone to type in qwerty mode, it would jump str8 back to the other mode. it takes many tries for it goes into qwerty mode. mayb firmware? i dunno help me pls. thanks

Sometimes the phone freeze and have to restart
Touch Screen below part is not responsive sometimes
Some Handset Proximity Sensor is not in good condition, have to fix or have to change the sensor
I don't want to mention about battery life.
It is sure that has low battery life but just look the screen resolution that is the best ever. I love it everytime I see phone screen.
If you are a user who needs to make many calls, just off the touch vibration and touch sound. One more step. ON the power saver setting. That will keep your battery life last longer as non-touch screen phone.
Now this is the popular question in this website that is about GPS Navigation.
Lucky Arena has 'stand alone' GPS receiver that can get GPS Signal without connection. The problem is GPS Navigation Software as Google Map is good software but it depends on Internet connection. What we are talking and asking here is Connection_Free GPS Software. the best software is "MobileGmap". It is totally free but no voice guide. I have use MobileGmap for quite long time and satisty about this software. But I have to admit that It can not compare with Nokia Map. If u don't mind about connection charges, "WisePilot" is the best for LG.
Now how about the accelerator meter sensor. It's not too good when you try to send SMS and playing music player. Except that I think It's quite OK.
