Any one know how to play Youtube video on KM900 Arena pls help me!!!!!I agree that couldn't work over Wi-Fi but I need over GPRS/UMTS cos I use 3G sim HSDPA 2100.
I tread many times by setting streaming correctly cos my job is a customer service Telecom in 3G Band but still no luck.
Or I tried with the m.youtube.com still no luck.
Or I tried with youtube application on KM900 still no luck.

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2009Arena is far better than 5800, just compare the screen reso... moreReally you thought that LG KM900 can play YouTube video?,No I could not play YouTube stream,I tried many time to setting streaming over GPRS/UMTS but it doesn't work,yes I really like KM900 of it screen resolution and the look of its but can not install sis or som Java game.I have experience with my 5800 and N97,iphone 3g but last I have tried KM900,it so poor with youtube stream even go to site m.youtube.com,KM900 really suck.

Fahad, 23 Nov 2009sorry but no offence, you cant compare a normal phone with ... moreya ofcourse, these two r totally from different domains, and being a smart phone with a symbian os 5800 can accomodate many 3rd pary application, but at the same time developing a phones interface on any specified given os puts some restrictions on the designes of the phone as well, since they cant make the phone do all the functions they want frm it in their way...they have to go according to the os,that os puts some restrictions in the designers view of making the phone to work...
so for the same reason, some designers of phone dont go for any open platform os , rather they choose a closed os also known as Propetiary os which they develop on thier own...
as they are making their own os they have full freedom of doing their functions accordingly nd they dont have to get restricted by the limitations of the os...just for improving the UI experience and the phone's usability , the designers try to develop the phone in their own os...
otherwise , u only try to think why any developer will go fr any hardshift and try to develop a totally new os for any phone, rather he can simply choose any of the present open os' like symbian, winmo, android etc avalable in the market nd can develop the phone on this platform, that will be simple fr him.
then why the developer r going fr a difficult job by designing a totally new interface for some phone,definitely there will be some reason behind this step...
they choose to make their own Propetiary os just to increae the usability and UI of the phone more friendly and fill it with most of the functions so u need not have to look fr many 3rd pary applications...
this is the case with arena...if u put any os like symbian in arena...that will simply ruin most of its functionality...
if u want a phone that can accomodate anything that u want frm it, then u can go fr smart phones...other wise if u want a nice and clean interface and a friendly UI with all of the functionalitis of a high end device with good multimedia support, u can go fr arena..
i am not offending anyone...this is just my view..
every phone is gr8 in its own way...

ummid (nepal), 23 Nov 2009its been a month like i purchased it and it hangs up someti... morefor me the phone never ever hanged while viewing my doc files or going through my gallery,..camera is good at day light but in night the pictures may not be that clear, after all is a 5mp camera only(what more do u want?)....flash is ok,i dont say its great....music quality is gr8...
regarding battery life, i can say that its not that gr8...this is a down side..but its not the phones fault since its using a 1000mah battery thats not sufficient...if u can find any 1500mah then this will be the bestest best phone..
anyways i dont mind charging my phone every alternate day or in heavy use everyday...since its a high end phone...and in the market, no high end phone gives u great battery life...
what ever phone u buy in the high end range , u will face same problems..
nd change ur firmware to the latest one i.e. v10p for faster response...

its been a month like i purchased it and it hangs up sometimes, the camera is not good for night-time, the flash is not good, the battery doesn't last long, some files dont open sometimes, dont know whats gonna happen next.....

Ani , 23 Nov 2009Can you please say, is this phone ready for Active sync wit... moresee there is a option present in it named "microsoft exchange" under the e-mail setting tab...so i think definitely it will be possible to connect it to microsoft exchange server...
bt i havent ever tried this option,so i cannt comment anything about how to setup this wizard....

and ofcourse u can watch Youtube over wifi...and nowadays u can find many applications for arena...
arena doesnt hang or freeze like 5800 nor does it have any screen flickering problem like 5800...
5800 is only good for listning music, its camera is the worst one...in other multimedia features , arena is far ahead...
and even many of my frnds traded their old 5800 for for arena...as arena looks far better in hand than 5800

It's not good enough like my 5800,this phone could not player YouTube on GPRS/UMTS or Wi-fi.The Java applicantion rarely to find for download and it's working weel.
