i just bought this phone yesterday and it sucks. I cannot even use it since it hung all the time. Not really recommended for everyone.
I cannot open the music since it hung even the camera, when i used and took picture it just hung and you need to remove the battery so you can reset it. And it is not really user friendly.

How's the processor on this one? will it get laggy after filling the memory? and how well is the video playback? And will the battery last long if u are for instance reading? (since there's a pdf support)

erjohnf - manila, 11 Sep 2009I'm playing Facebook - Mafia Wars on my arena... So Coooool... moreheyy. how do you upgrade your firmware using LG PC suite. my pc suite is " LG PC SUITE III " ( i upgraded it already cause the notified me )and i haven't even upgraded my firmware once .its still 10a.

T-man, 11 Sep 2009I wish to purchase this phone.. but i have read at many for... morewell the arenas that have problems are the ones that have, custom firmwares by network operators, for example orange, vodafone etc, if you do buy it update the firmware to latest, or you can wait a bit till a even better firmware is out, then buy it, then update the firmware,

T-man, 11 Sep 2009I wish to purchase this phone.. but i have read at many for... morehey. this phone is generally good. the exterior is brilliant. camera quality is good. there is problems with the firmware such that the music is jumbled up or something. but that can be fixed from updating firmware and i have read that the problem is dismissed. i myself have some problems too.asked around this forum and it got dismissed. you should really check out this phone. other alternatives if you are going for LG phones are probably the viewty smart as you can change the picture fr the homescreen whereas in arena you cannot.

I wish to purchase this phone.. but i have read at many forums that this phone has alot of software bugs... freezing and restarting other feature limitations... also i read somewhere that it also has some issuees with its music player and the way its playlist get sorted... can anybody throw somelight on this and if its been rectified in newer version firmwares... are these problems withh all arenas or only with a few select once... can somebody with a good experience with this phone please stand up !!!

Yes i did download the firmware thru lg pc suite III and the lg support tool. click option and pick the country ( i go by firmware country as adviced by lg forum,mylgarena.com, so i picked HK and prompts update available, click available update to make sure its a newer version ). from there...follow instructions but make sure you back-up all your files before doing the update firmware. it takes about 30 mins to download the new firmware. today is the 6th day... still amazimgly doing well. added songs and downloaded more music videos from idesktop.tv... no freezing so far. also watched the play by play game opener of the NFL (american football that is) thru google. works fine...so far..but the battery still sucks. time to charge it again. GoodLuck !!!
