NO!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!
I don't want to be this phone to be as widesrpread as nokia.

hi, to every1 who is hesitating to buy the phone, pls dont. i recommend that u buy it. at a cheap price u get a very cool fon. i heard that they might increase the price of kp500 ... dont wori , for the reboot issues just need to update the software... love it!!!

I don't mind the battery since I charge it at the same time I use the computer, so it never runs out.
But, take note, if you use it to take alot of pictures or video or simply play around with it for an hour or two - chances are it will turn off on you in no time.
The battery lasts two days on mine; which is good enough.

I saw that somebody already made a MAP app for this. I'm not sure where to get that app though. I just saw a note on one forum that somebody installed it already; and working fine. That's all I know.

1. SORTING FILE... moreMe again
1st sorting files go onto menu on the fone then setings and then connectivity. then usb connection and select mass storage. This means wen pluged via usb into pc it will appear as an usb mass storage which means u can just drag and drop files. Cool so far right.
2nd When getting games from http://gallery.mobile9.com/c/lg-kp500-cookie-softwares_1972/1/ this free site u use this medthod do not un pack the files on the pc leave them how they are. Put them into the other folder on ur fone via pc then go onto ur others folder on ur fone on the actual fone then choose the game and it will come up with another menu saying install this game select yes and go frm there.
That was effort there u go .

Well, agree on that, yes. Yes, there are glitches on the phone (I didn't get it, but) some people had.
Get this phone if you are close to an LG service center.
Being in North America, and the phone not being sold in America (yet), I have no way to get my phone's firmware upgraded. Fortunately, I didn't have to.
But, get this (only) if you can have it upgraded.

i am thinking of buying this phone but my friends told me that it has a software problem...
but when i read the opinions and comments i saw that that the problem was rectifies with an updated version of the software...
so if the software is updated then the phone has no problems right and i can go for it??

Well, the phone is cheap because... Well, whatever you pay monthly covers the cost of the phone.
My brother has an Iphone, he bought it for that amount. But, the costly part of it is the monthly. The subscribers need be on a (3 yr) contract in order to get it for $199.
Do the math of it; it will really show how much you pay for the phone. The monthly of the contract in 3 years (plus) the tax (plus) the system charge (plus) the phone. It would amount (even more) what the Iphone actually costs without the contract and sim-free.

Well, you probably live in the big city. Look outside of your box, people earn less than what they need.
Some people earn about P500 a day, they are lucky enough to get that even.
Yes, people can afford the Iphone - known fact. But, it's not very practical.
Sunshine Dizon even bought herself a P2MM car. She could have helped the needy with that kind of money.
Simply vulgar.
