    After paired my phone with bluetooth, everytime I connect the bluetooth with my car bluetooth the phone reboots,can someone help? Thx

      I find gold too glam and black too executive...hahah! Vandyke brown is like black with a lil bit of red! ^^,

            vikai, 02 Jan 2009i just bought this lg cookie yesterday.. may free memory ca... moreby itself, it doesnt come free with a mem card but that will depend on the shop you bought it from. I got mine for 12k comes w/a free 2gb sansdisk. be sure to set all files to be stored in the ext mem 1st to avoid reboots/resets. i also hope you waited for the gold or silver versions. anyway, tc.

              JeloGaille, 02 Jan 2009I just got my LG Cookie Vandyke Brown for 12,900 at Graphic... morevery nice & objective observation, i might say. to all cookie users, before complaining, be sure to apply the correct settings 1st. set all your files to be stored in the ext memory. dont expect a pc of gadget to fix itself especially if you haven't set it correctly 1st. this isnt exactly a simple pc of tecnology so make the necessary adjustments 1st & simple trouble-shooting, the user guide is there to assist you.

                I took it back to the store after an hour. Its like a china phone.. the lightness felt so empty. No themes. I had a really hard time using the qwerty. Its a stylus or point screen unlike the Samsung Tocco which was more of touch screen. Hope others enjoy it, but mine it was like = TraUma. waste of money =(

                  this is what i actually do. i'm not a technician but im just used to troubleshooting tech stuffs. all i do was based on experiments. dont blame me for it's not working. Do it for your own risk. (It will delete all your files, all of them inc. the SIM. for a freshly baked cookie)

                  1st. BE SURE TO BACK UP ALL FILES! including
                  CONTACTS,CALENDAR,ETC. inc SIM(i got them backed up with MS outlook. BTW i never used outlook before wahehe but it is so useful in backuping contacts.)

                  >Set Primary Storage to External Memory
                  >Set Camera/Video to External Memory
                  >Set Sound Recording to External Memory
                  >Go to phone settings>memory manager:
                  Clear USER MEMORY,HANDSET RESERVED MEMORY, and
                  SIM MEMORY (yes i also did this. :c) then
                  >Format EXTERNAL MEMORY via Phone, not via PC
                  >Reboot the phone (Freshly baked cookie)
                  then.
                  >Sync the phone with MS outlook via phone's software
                  to send all of the contacts to the phone.

                  That's it. I got my phone working 7 days now.
                  no reboot/reset.

                    I just got my LG Cookie Vandyke Brown for 12,900 at Graphics All. (Sans the MMC-- I suggest you get 2gig)

                    Its light, slim! I love it...I had a lot of fun with the widgets especially, which you can drag-n-drop!

                    Its quadband, so even if you are abroad, you can insert any international sim!

                    The 3mp camera is -Aaaaverage. But this cookie doesn't have flash, and you can not disable the shutter sound, but you can choose from 3 shutter sounds. Not so bright colors but its not pixelated.

                    Its just so sad coz they dont have color schemes or themes to choose from. I hope it would be available soon! You can even swipe your fingers on the standby screen--its so cool!

                    The Drawing Panel is Love... =) You can edit your images with it, like face morphing and photo filters too!

                    Great video playback. In 3gp only, I bet it doesn't play MP4(mpeg4) vids, which havent tried yet!

                    The media player is a plus! Great loudspeakers!

                    I tried to call my boyfriend,to test the sound quality of calls-- and its average, unlike my nokia 5200 which is really crystal clear!

                    Stylus Pen? I dont like handwriting, so I prefer the QWERTY ,its easy!

                    The Welcome and Goodbye screens have bugs, cannnot disable the goodbye screen tone! Well I guess this firmware version has several bugs on it.So it really needs an upgrade!

                    Annoyingly, it randomly reboots itself on me, already 4 times! But the user profiles still there, no data loss or anything...And Im calling the service center! I was kinda suspicious it has to do with the FirmWare Version.. KP500AT_v10c, (do u know where to find the software update for V10e? I read somewhere in the comments here that there is already a firmware v10e!

                    I love my cookie, I dont wanna replace it with nokia phones, which are just so common here in our place. I guess no phones were perfect by itself,may it be nokia, or samsung or even HTCs, they have their downsides too! Read the reviews first, check fone specs before purchasing one. That's my only advice, so u wouldn't have regrets later!

                    For me, I dont use 3G,coz I am using SunCellular network and I bet they dont support 3G @ the moment. I dont need wifi too, I have my broadband at home.

                    My mom was planning to give me a Samsung Tocco, but I was salivating on the cookie really badly,its just Eyecandy! For me, the main downside on this fone KP500 is its random reboots! I dunno about the other KP500 units, but I guess the main culprit is the firmware, its faulty!

                    Im giving my cookie a 4.5/5 overall!

                        I gave this nice cute phone to my Wife as a Christmas present. At the beginn, we were very happy.. But then it started with errors nonstop.. She could not write 3 SMS without the system hang.. As well every second incall, froze thy phone.. Im VERY disappointed and as soon we'are back in Singapore, Ill go to the LG Shop.. Either better SW or Money back!

                              THIS IS MY CASE:

                              I had my Cookie for like a week and no problems!!

                              Yesterday it rebooted for the first time though all the settings/messages were all there! Nothing gone! just a small reboot when trying to make a call home.

                              A few hours later I had another rebooting just like the first one when I opened the Contacts Book.

                              From that moment till now it seems to be working fine again (just to be sure I did the "ext memory trick" a few minutes ago) in spite of a little thing:

                              I wrote a sms using the handwriting recognition feature and first thing I noticed was that the common 160 characters were reduced to 70!?!?!?!?

                              Then I tried to send the sms (it went in 2 parts) but the sending failed! The sms is still on "sending" and I can only stop that sending and not erase the damn sms! The thing is, after I cancel the sending, I get a Fail message and when I click to open the failed sms the phone goes down and reboots!!!!!!!

                              After that I just rewrote the sms on common keyboard and everything went right as it should lolol!!


                              So, that's my main problem: EVERY TIME I OPEN THE FAILED SMS IT REEBOOTS...

                              ANY HELP PLEASE?

                              In spite of that, the phone works great and I still think it my best phone!

                                Open the widget menu (it's the small arrow on the bottom right side of the menu).
                                Drag the "music Stop" button (or widget) back to the area of the widget menu and you'll see it replaced!
