as of now, it's current market price is ranging between PHP10 to 11,000 and by far the cheapest full touch screen phone out in the market, not bad really, even if it doesn't have 3G or WiFi, a cool gadget to have specially for such a moderate price ^_^

I bought LG Cookie at Mall Of Asia, I had no problem encountered so far... my firmware version is also KP500AT_V10c. For me I think LG Cookie is a best buy for a Php 11,700. It's a cheap fone but lots of feature minus the wifi and 3G which i don't care coz i have a smart bro and a laptop... for those people who encountered some difficulties using the phone try the to read the manual.

The rebooting problems usually happen when you leave it on the charger at night, am I correct? Well, naturally, it weakens the battery... But the phone shows vulnerability especially on the first week of usuage... If that happens, contact your nearest LG retailer.

to all LG phils. ,user. i called the LG phils at tel. no. 6402525, they said that they still have to report our concerns directly to korea, coz as of today they still dont have firmware upgrade for the LG cookie. we have to wait for further announcement from them. thank you.

I've had my cookie for 2 weeks now.
At night, I leave it on while I'm charging it, and the phone turns off and back on by itself. I don't lose any settings but its just pretty annoying.
And just today, I didn't touch my phone for an hour and when I came back, it turned itself off! I tried turning it back on and it wouldn't, so I had to take out the battery and put it back in. Thank god everything is still saved.
I bought it from ebay so I'm pretty sure I can't call anyone to fix it. Is there anyone that fix these problems yet?

when i go to enter the software programme. it is not allowing my phone to be accepted and it coming up with the blue screen. showing that i need a software update for this. but i cant find any updates. what can i do to solve this?

REBOOTING PROBLEMS:
from PHILS.. could anyone call LG about this?
i had txted a dealer from whom i got this phone..
he said that i should set my primary storage and camera storage to "EXTERNAL MEMORY" i had also formatted my memord card (4GB)via phone.. when i had got this set. i had no experience of REBOOTING or RESETING. its 2 days from now when i got this settings on. but i don't know if this would be the exact solution for the problems of rebooting. still experimenting.
Out Topic: LG cookie indeed is a winner for:
features in ratio of its affordability.

Azgauth, 28 Dec 2008I have my Sony Ericsson K850i Cybershot as my primary fone.... moremy problem also is about rebooting, it irritates me a lot! i'll try to call LG after the holiday season. so far i guess there is no firmware upgrade yet from the LG cookie. my firmware is KP500AT_V10c how bout you?

I dont find any problem in rebooting, as long as it doesnt delete my inbox and contacts. I already transfered my contacts to my sim. Its just that the reboot thing can get very very annoying sometimes...
aside from its rebooting problem, I love it. I have no plans of replacing it (so far) as long as the problem can be fixed....
did anyone here from the philippines already called LG about the problem?

It says "sim card removed... morewe have the exact/same problem! i guess the real remedy is to sell our phone to grinhills and buy a new one like samsung or sony ericsson or nokia. let us disregard LG pones! its a premature phone! i wasted my money for buying this LG cookie phone!!!!!! TO ALL OF US! DO NOT BUY ANY LG PHONES ESPECIALLY COOKIE! TRUST ME! I DONT WANT YOU TO SUFFER LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970do not get any LG phones! its a low end phone even their high end is low end, and the battery lasts for 1 1/2 days only even your not using any cameras and videos etc..... and it reboots now and then! really not a good brand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
