Some people who experience problems with their cookie upgraded their phone software then after that no more problems. My kp500's internet settings was provided by my network service provider. They sent the configuration thru text then installed it on my phone. After that i can access the internet on sweat. I dont know why your network service doesn't know how to send you internet settings for your kp500 @sarah
The kp500 doesn't support themes. Just change its wallpapers. But on other forum sites i can read some post that they put themes in their cookie by modifying the database of the phone's software. I won't modify the phone's software if i were you. You might accidentally delete or corrupt the phone's software. Very scary method so just be contented by changing the wallpapers. It will do just fine. Hehe.
The kp500 supports java applications. Just search thru the net about kp500 softwares and other stuff or you might check this site out www.mylgcookie.com.

If i import an album to the phone i only get all separate songs. Phone does not recognize album or artist, only the song titles. Very anoying. Anyone knows how to do this? thx

i got this phone just today for my postpaid retention plan..And am a newbie to this phone so I'm still discovering its features. i just wanna ask some few questions that might help me boost its performance just like any other lg cookie lovers would want to.
1. how and where can I upgrade/update the phone's firmware?;
2. is opera mini available for download for this phone? how shall i get it? can it be downloaded right into the phone through its internet browser?

We read all pros and cons of many mobile devices. But its really up to the user to what specs he or she is satisfied with. Well as for me i am very happy with the kp500. Thanks LG! ^_^

SORRY INTERNET FREAKS:
you can download files only upto 300kb using wap... :(
the camera is pretty good.. its got a dashing cool style, the vandyke brown colour is awesome.. the touch censor is not good anyway.. no good games.. i bought this fone and used it only for 2.5 months and sold it with a loss of 4000PKR

kp500 is a mid level fone. Its a user friendly and budget friendly device. This is great for those who wanted to have an affordable touch phone but great in performance. if some of you are having problems with this unit then update your firmware. as for me im having a great time with this device. as for some of you who are having problems my advice is update your firmware. this is a great device at a low price. Im happy with my cookie. GOd bless!!! YEAH!
