I used the Viewty for nearly 2 months and i was desperate to sell it by the end of two months. I do not deny that the camera is really good and so is the music player sound quality. But i think that in general, the build quality of the phone is very bad. There's alot of software problem and the sensor keypad is quite bad as well. sometimes the vibration doesn't work at all. Within the 2 months of using the phone, i had alry sent it for servicing 2 times. I change phones very frequently (once every 3 months) and i would say that LG Viewty gave me my worst experience with mobile phones. Phone strongly not recommended for people who needs a fast phone or has a high usage of phones. The messaging system is quite screwed up especially when its comes to the T9 input. I really did not like my experience with this phone. The pictures are deleted sometimes when the phone hangs and the detection of the Micro Sd card is quite bad. Interface is good but at some parts, it can get slightly complicating.

I have this phone and soo far I really like it. The camera is great and the screen resolution is nice too. The only problem is the battery life. Even on standby the battery only last me about 15 hours without use, before it turns itself off. Like some didgital cameras battery, it wont last as long if the battery is cold. This is a known issue. So if you can live with it, then
this is a fantastic phone.

8gb sd card is usable in this phone but problems sipped in when occupied >4gb of the 8gb card.

I currently have an LG Viewty Unlocked as the maker produced it and sim free.
It is my second LG Viewty and has the same fault as the first one.
The battery indicator does not work (it states its fully charged from anything from 1 to 5 days at a push and then just dies without warning.
Please, please anyone reading this advise me if they are having the same problem.
Two phones must mean that its a problem.
Also LG have no intention of producing updates to fix bugs on this over priced phone as its been dumped heavily in the uk.

Haral, 04 Sep 2008Everybody is saying its amazing fone, ya sure it is ..but, ... morebackspace is button C and next line button can be found in the symbol mode using the *%& button which is below no 7 button. The first symbol you can find is the enter sign.

It's the best phone on earth.
And it can easily beat n95, k850, iphone or any other.
