Loved my viewity until 3 mth in and the touchscreen no longer responded. They couldn't fix it and its been sent back over seas. Worst time its been 2 mth without a phone.

hmmm. im so sure abt that. firstly it doesnt have xenon flash...it only has a strobe flash which is much weaker than a xenon flash.
secondly the picture and file manager is not that wonderful after all. its performance decreases dramatically when ur memory card starts to fill up to the max point. the lag can be up to 30 seconds for a picture and abt 15s for zooming into a picture. that really irritating in a way if u take alot of snap shots here and dere.
thirdly... the picture quality is good under good lighting...but the quality starts to suffer badly under dimmer lighting and image noise increases greatly. plus the camera settings does not automatically detect low lighting situations and the flash light cannot be forced on. so the only time the red light and flash can be on is when u set it to night mode. even then sometimes it doesnt on.
and another thing abt the file manager...for sounds and songs part...there seems to ba a big problem because u cant transfer a bunch of files into another folder at one go and thus u get a messy folder clustered with all sorts of songs that u put in. i tried to sort all the songs into the folders but it was incredibly irritating cus u have to do it one by one.
other than these problems..the viewty seems to be pretty much a fun, camera phone to use. it is priced reasonably for the limited competency that it serves. im not trying to put the viewty down or wadever...i own one and i am still using it. but sometimes its just these small details that really matters. the numbers on the stat sheet doesnt really matter that much. u have to try it on ur own to find out. if u like touch screen, reasonably good camera, funky fone, and perhaps restricted finantially...this is the fone for you.
im changing to the samsung innov8 as soon as its out :)

please stop asking about the shutter silenser, as they have answered it above read all and u will see.
love the phone its beautiful. cant wait to get one.

the viewty supports arabic lang if only you buy it from the middle east "arab countries only".
the screen display looks great, bright colors, but cant compete nokia screens for their 16m colors.

I realy like the phone but my problem is it doesnt have protection for camera, otherwise the phone is exellent i realy like got it yesterday
