LG KU990 Viewty

Hi ,
the signal reception on my viewty is not good.Call gets disconnected sometimes when I m in a network where the signal is low.This wasnt the problem with my previous phone.I m using it with Hutch in delhi.
Did any body also faced the same problem?

Will this take a bigger microsd than the 2gig? I was wanting to use this as my mp3 player as well.

i've used viewty for a few months. the batt last me for 3 - 4 days as well. the camera is good. i just find smsing a bit annoying sometimes. coz i have to keep backspacing. perhaps i'm not used to it yet. i saw someone smsing in the train before. and he typed real fast. it's a good phone. if there was a wireless it would be way better.

my phone battery life is good. i use 3-4 days with lot of sms, several voice calls and few video calls. i do gmail now on my phone bcos of the speed. mmmm few hours of radio and video watch.. i watch t.v. on the way with 3G line. about 3 days time i got recharge.

does anyone know if this phone will fit in one of those soft pouches for ipod phones?
i kno its shorter on all sides compared to the iPhone but its a bit thicker.

here i bought my LG KU990R phone in Sri Lanka. my phone camera has lens cover. and can connect 3.5" ear phone jack with the supplies data cable. may be this R phone try to correct the previous phone lack of facilities.

priyan, 21 Jul 2008sorry for the delay to answer. yes KU990R has got the lens ... morethe KU990 Viewty doesn't have lens shutter like the KE990. KU990's flash is not Xenon.

If anyone of u have succeed in installing/downloading a theme for this phone, please let me know about it too. I'm kind of sick n tired of the same black or grey theme. Also, where do u get wallpapers that is somehow somewhat like the fishy thing. U know, move around the whole screen or maybe it's a gif file. I don't know. Tell me tell me PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

It's good with the 5MP camera..
I've been using it for more than 7 months..
and yet, it's still working perfectly..
This phone is flawless..

I think this phone needs a camera cover. If they can accommodate a camera cover for KE990 then why not on KU990? No one would like to see grease or scratches on camera
