The Viewty has the ability to recieve but doesn't store them on the handset so you can forward them on. It has 'Emoticon' which can be found whilst in messaging tap the Paperclip then scroll down and tap 'Emoticon'.
These are very basic :(

Check the camera settings the quality should be good - we haven't experience bad quality with this camera.
There is so much to check when using the camera check out our video on YouTube about the camera - sorry about the quality we were testing video cameras on mobile handsets at the time :)

With messaging you have 3 main different ways of inputting text - keypad, qwerty keyboard and handwriting recognition. To get to these whilst in messaging tap the A toolbar at the top next to your T9 option.

I baught new Viewty Phone, If any body kn... moreHi to transfer files from your PC all you need to do is do the following:
First check to make sure the handset is in USB mode. To do this do the following:
Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Connectivity > USB Connection Mode > Select Mass Storage
Now connect your data cable and your coputer should pick up your memory card - micro SD. Just copy and paste your movie into the video's folder - do not create a folder as the handset will not recognise this.

I hate the scrolling thing! It is SO hard to scroll down in a text message, the scroll bar is like 2mm wide so it's really hard, even with the stylus.
Does anyone know if there is any way of changing the view so you can see more than a couple of lines when you are writing a text?
Also really dislike that there aren't arrows. Is there any way if editing words in a txt other than having to point in between the letters? Its hard to get in the exact right spot without using the stylus.

me , 09 Jul 2008does this phone support a normal 3.5' jack
The handset comes with remote earphones which will accept any 3.5mm jack headphones.

hi how can i get the moving smile pictures in my text messages, with sony ericsson phones its really simple to find, i carnt seem to find them on this phone. they must be on here somewhere because it lets me recive them from other people. Please get back to me

Nice phone in general except that the reception is not good. And it should have more bars instead of just 4 for the maximum signal strength.
To delete multiple messages, open the folder (Inbox for example) and click Options (lower left corner) and select Mark/Unmark. When done, each message will be presented with a checkbox so you can mark/unmark any messages you want. After marking the messages, you can then delete all of them in one go.
