Am returning it after two weeks. My wife and I both had one and the audio (speech, mind you) is just terrible. The rest of the phone, apart from the missing lid for the lense is absolutely fantastic, but if you cant talk on that phone, whats the point

120fps for 5 mins was 88.3MB, so yeah you need a memory card:)
I have the phone for 4 months now, no no no problems! What a great phone :)

hi. I am wanting to get this phone for my birthday. My dad is fine with getting it, however my mum on the other hand isnt. This is mainly because my brother and his girlfriend each had a LG U8120 on the Australian 3 network. They had so much trouble, not just with the company but the phone itself. They each had to get a new one at least 10 times. Although this was over 3 years ago my mum still has a feeling that the same thing will go wrong with the Lg Viewty.
What are your imputs on this? Is the phone worth the money? And have any problems like this happened to anyone using this particular phone.
          much appreciated

hi hi, i posted this question few times already. i was wondering if anyone who already has this phone could do a test on the slow motion video. i would like to know how much space it will take up for slow motion video. So, if possible can someone take a slow motion video of say, about 5 mins and see what is the file size of the video file ? thanks in advance !

i got the silver viewty a few days ago. i like the phone but do have a few comments.
                  1. flash sucks - effective range in a dark room doesn't go beyond a meter at best. you'll get light beyond it but your picture will be way too dark for sure. i think the phone has some smartlight feature to post process dark pics but haven't tried it.

                  2. scrolling is hard - in some menus it's really hard b/c you have to touch and move the screen a certain way. but i sometimes accidently select rather than drag. maybe i'll get used to it.

                  3. battery life - 2 days - i check internet a lot w/ t-mobile - gprs. that and w/ an hour or two of phone calls and my phone was beeping for a charge. if you get 3-4 days it's possible... you prob just used it for phone and txt messaging. gprs really will your battery life w/ anyone.

Well, for most phones nowadays, if there's no available wi-fi, you could use GPRS (or the 3G version) which is in a way comparable to dial up or DLS, you have to pay the phone company for the access based on either duration, or amount of data transferred.

alright. this may be a dumb question. lol but if this phone has no wi-fi.. it would not be able to go onto the internet? at all? or just certain places? Please answer. will wait

this is a great phone and i am considering buying it. people are saying the camera shutter is very slow. is that true? what other flaws does this phone have? would you classify it as a 'girl's phone' such as the LG Prada?
