I have had this phone for the last 2 months and i have not had a problem, the battery lfe in the phone is awesome i only have to charge every 3 days and im classed as a heavy phone user, every now and again i there are duds but what do you expect its all technology :-)

The touch calibration is good until you experience issues for the first time. After that first time the fault repeatedly comes back having to re calibrate.
Some times the calibration detection screws up as well. Not reliable enough for my personal taste. Does this have to do with the slow processor speed compared to the PDA's?

After having this phone for only 9 days I took it back today as it is way too annoying to text with, don't want to be stuck with it for 12 months so I'm back to my trusty nokia 6300 :)
Other than the texting though, it is a really good phone.

im thinking about getting the viewty (really want the KF700) but unavailable.
what is it like to text with? i send a lot of texts and am hearing different accounts... is it easy and as quick as normal number buttons or is it difficult and slow?

Its ok I’ve solved the problem I just posted only had this phone 3 days now I’ve just solved the names entry to the phone book only 12 characters you have to enter surname on a new line as my last phone did "ur what a dummy" but I rate this phone I’m over the moon with it awesome excellent functionality and usability I was always a Samsung fan and wanted the F480 or the F490 but neither are available yet so I opted for this and I’m glad I did

To those of you complaining about the viewty picture quality have you removed the small thin clear plastic covering over the camera lens if you have not removed this film then the quality of the photo will be poor once removed the quality of the photos is second to none if this does not work then it may be a manufacturing error.
Can any one tell me as I haven’t read the manual fully yet why the phone address book only allows 12 character names and displays 3 lines for available text but will not let you use them?

The phone is brilliant. I'm not sure why people have posted that the photo quality is bad because it is far from it. You can change the quality of photo but it is great in any setting. I have a full song list and use tunes as sms tones and have awesome fun with it. I would recommend this phone to anyone who like PDAs cameras and phones because it is mix of all. Go LG

Just got a KU990 two days ago, and I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the handset. Only thing I'm not too happy about is no WLAN which would have made the phone 10/10.
The processor is fast, the camera's great, the touchpad works a treat.

TO MADARA ::::>> yes, this phone's foto quality si very VERY bad....a don't know with witch kind of phone did GSMARENA the pics in the review?!? Couse my pics are very very bad....and it is NOT from "options" menu!!! I think that review was a marketing thing....VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!

Music loads very quickly for me, its on a memory card. This phone is highly recommended.

oh, and loading the songs take ages since the phone is very laggy, and the song lags too if u run some programs and stuff. you cant listen to music while playing games, so yea...dont look forward to that also...

well, the music player is pretty crap. the sound quality aint that bad, but could've been better. it has no eq, so dont look forward to that. the scrolling of artists and albums is relatively easy, but the scrolling of songs sucks!!! the jog wheel(the thing next to the camera) is very hard to use, so if ure looking for a music player and a camera phone, get a N82 or K850i. there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, so its very easy to lose the adapter.

try mobichat if u want an instant messanger on the viewty
