Can someone tell me if it is possible to set mp3s as contact specified ring tones? Also can you set pictures taken with the camera as wallpaper or background?

Poor reception quality compared to Nokia Arte 8800. Recently purchased both phones and plan to give the one I didn't want to my mom.
Although this phone has much more capabilities compared to the Nokia Arte, sound quality, reception quality, and battery life (Complaining against the much maligned 8800 batteries, HA HA).
The build quality also feels kinda cheap. Not very solid feeling.

lost my Prada last week and decided to replace it with the Viewty. Got it on Friday and I'm loving it! The camera is just fantastic. the phone is a little bigger than I thought though. Kinda thick. And Nick, what do you mean how fast the BT is? Transfer speed is all standard I thought. Anyways, if anyone is thinking about this phone, I suggest buy it from addictedtophones.com They have it for $539 w/ memory card+car charger and shipping included. Not a bad deal

LG means lucky goldstar ... goldstar is lg they changed their name .lifes good . looks good .. all marketing ploys they sound good but at the end of the day its just goldstar rebadged ..nothing wrong with lg i plan on getting a LG .... laser 50 inch screen .cd and plasma are on the way out.

Excellent Camera, Horrible phone features.
Some very basic feature are missing or horribly implemented... like ONLY 5 notes!!! WHY?? what where they thinking (or not)?
Cannot define week days for alarms... I work Sunday, so the simple task of using the phone as an alarm is not even functional for me.

can anyone tell me if the flash light is working properly? mine just doesn't seems to work at all when i try to take photo in a dark area/room..i've checked ALL the settings but the flash just wont work, could it be a product failure? can anyone help??? other than tat, Viewty is truly a kick-a** phone! cheers..

LG stands for "Life is Great".
this fone is wonderful. however the camera performance is not as good as a 5MP digital camera (of course). Pictures look great in 1024x768 but terrible when viewing 100% (full 5MP size). There's also some drawback and I hope LG will release a firmware update soon:
- cannot change theme other than the 3 shipped with the phone.
- the keyboard only available when writing messages.
- Singapore version doesn't have tabs in phone book.
- quick launch buttons are not customizable.
- cannot use animated images (.gif) as wallpaper.
all these things can be fixed with a firmware upgrade. hopefully.

Dont talk about anything you dont know nothing about.Am using a 6gb-card and it works fine with no issues all i have to do is fill up atleast 4gb before i put it into the phone!

Just bought the phoner yesterday. I think it's really great. Unfortunately it won't synk with mac. I'm also having some probs sending things from the mac via BT.

i don't know what the problem is but the pictures are very good and the do look like they've been taken with a 5MP camera.Do you hold down the button before you take a picture or do you take them instantly?because you shold do it until that thing in the screen becomes green...
