Want to purchase either this or the Samsung G600. i use the video recorder for live music recordings (live bands)whats the viewtys playback sound on video recordings like - is it clear or destorted, loud or not very??

Hi, i am using my fingers for everything. I have packed my styls away! Awesome phone too. Hats off to lg. Also, installed opera mini for web browsing, lovely o th big screen. Cheers.

T-mobile UK are giving a TV Out Cable to people who take a contract off the Website. I contacted them and they said they have none for sale. I contacted LG and they said... "Thank you for your email. We regret to advise that the TV-out function is not available in the UK" What Is Going On!

I just got this phone today so here is my opinions so far.
First three bad points. There is no lens cover to protect it and the jog dial is in a stupid place. It also does not support MMS so none of the little animated pictures (winking, devil, crying etc) or the sounds (fanfare, drum roll, chime high etc) but then the N95 does not support these neither.
Anyway after having owned a couple of LG phones in the past I was surprised by how well this phone works. You can finally choose ANY audio file you want for your message alert and not just four presets. The T9 works better but does have some flaws such as going to type that's and it puts up that17. The handwriting recognition works well but is not something you will use often as it's quicker to type.
Oh and this phone is damn loud. The preinstalled ringtones are the usual pile of toss as is to be expected. The phone will resize your photos if you want to send them via SMS.
As well as being able to assign a photo to a cotnact you can also create an avatar for them. A little character where you can choose the face, hairtype, scenery and clothing.
The stylis does look a little like ladies eyeliner but ho hum.

hi,
just a quick question- do you actually use the stylus on the phone or mostly ur fingers? - can you browse the web using only ur fingers?
also do you feel it is large and awkward to have in ur jeans or jacket pocket as it is quite large?
finally, do you feel it makes you a target for thevies cos it looks expensive, or is it ordinary looking enough that thieves wouldnt notice?

guys you lost me.i don't understand someone says it's not that good the photos and everything and the battery life sucks and someone else says it's awe some?! maybe we should poll because i'm gonna buy this phone some day in the next two weeks...GD

i just purchased LG's Viewty...its an amazing device....worth every penny
my bro has Nokia N95 & my Viewty takes best pics than N95 & even videos...
its very gud lookin & the touch screen is amazing...its the best gadget in its class....very light weight...& sophisticated
i dont agree with ppl who say tht the phone dont have easy features 2 view photos or play music...i didnt had any probs so far...
I think LG have taken the next step into mobile devices & NOKIA will have 2 work very hard 2 catch up with LG's technology & sophistication
so i wud suggest 2 all folks tht dont get fooled by ppl out here....VIEWTY'S a real beauty...& this phone wont get outdated 4 many years 2 come
PS:- The Battery life is also gud...so dont wry

i dont know what everyone is talking about!
i have the phone its a great phone!!
there is nothing wrong with with the battery life, how hard is it to charge at night and then it will last for at least 3 days, there is nothing wrong with the photo stuff either or the music! theres nothing to worry about with this phone! if u do small charges then it ruins the battery life so watch out!
