Battery life on the KU990 is not that great.Also i've noticed that the 4 energy bars are not measuring right. For example the first one drops after a day (very light use). But if you fall asleep at night and there are 2 energy bars, in the morning the phone will be switched off! All in all the phone lasts 2 days with very light use.20mins talkink per day and 10sms. Thats it. Terrible battery life. Oh i am so waiting for larger batteries to hit the market.

Am using N95 but someone has stolen my mobile so now am looking for LG KU990. How's the camera and sound quality.Main thing how the battery live? cos i usually talk 3 to 4 hour continously. wats the market price of dis fone? Help Buddy... am getting in a weeks time.

ive had a lot of phones this one i wanted because it was different all i can say is brill best phone ever dvd movies great cam and video recording is superb quality and the touch screen is minted honestly buy this you wont regret it the battery life is reaally good to not a bad thing to say about this magic phone

hi, i'm thinking of bying this phone, but i really need some advice. before, i had the N95, but i wasn't too pleased with it. the menus were slow and the camera's autofocus didn't seem to work at all - hence no clear close-up pics.. i'm currently choosing between Viewty and d N95 8GB(hoping the black one might be upgraded) what i want is the best camera, what to do?

i just read d manual and realised that u have 2 hold down d snap shot botton until the little box turns green, lol much better results now!

To ulsyd the KU990 kicks ass in video recording. It is its best feature.Get it and you will not regret it. The photos are not that great for 5mpix.

To the noname friend who replied for the memory card. I have already done that my friend.I put the memory card to an adapter. formated at 4gb and filled it up with 2.8GBs. Remaining 1.2. When switching on the phone it takes a looooong time to boot. When finally at the initial screen when i go to my files->memory card it reads for a about 2mins and then returns an error not being able to read the damn thing. Also when i tried accessing the files by pressing , my videos, my pics, my music the phone always hanged (the menu/language is in Greek and i freely translate here). All in all it does not work. The file system i used for the 4GB was fat32 of course. Interestingly enough though in the memory settings the phone reports correctly 1.2GB free space!

hello all, if you guys want to use the microSD larger than 2GB (ie. 4GB, 6GB & 8GB), you have to fill up the space until it remain less than 2GB free space in it.
In this way, the phone can work with the card larger than 2GB. This is the limitation of this phone.
eg. 8GB microSD
case 1. Used: 2GB, Free: 6GB
Results: still can read the content in card, but can't save files to the card
case 2. Used: 6GB, Free: 2GB
Results: can read the content in card, and also can save files to the card

if you use the power save option in fone settings your battery will last much longer up 2 two days with me sometimes

Got the phone on 31 Dec. Upgraded to google map 2.01 and it won't work anymore. Singtel 3G setting in the phone don't work properly. Can't delete the default Access point setting. Somehow once u update the appln, u can't get the access point to work properly. Had to send it to service centre to upgrade the sw. Sometime signal is weak in enclose area. Youtube sw is not that fantastic as compare to emTube which i use on e61i.
Divx player is great due to 3" screen. Picture viewing cannot be display in full screen.

That ap sounds like an apple rep. The cd is small so it can fit in ur pocket- u dont actually need it as u can go into settings and switch usb connection type to mass storage- 2 use it like a pen drive. Bluetooth is sooooo easy to set up- menu, relevant side tap and big and bold- bluetooth. Before u take a picture use d anti shake botton and it compensates 4 movements of ur hand!
