Overall the camera is quite OK and viewty is more camera look than any camera phone. Agree that the photo quality is not that nice maybe due to the setting since it come with more comprehensive features. And the 120fps video is really cool. I got the Viewty for Christmas and i'm a fan, however, disappointed with the 5mp cam!!! Yea, ofcourse after taken the plastic cover to realized that it's not much better. It's better than 2mp, but its no where near a 5mp quality. If you are looking at this phone due to the cam, please stay away. Over all its a cool phone, but not sure if it's worth the $$$. Get the prada, not much diff.

i use to have a prada and on an apointment i could only have 20 letters i think, is it the same on the viewty

Honestly, I think Sonyericsson make good mobile phone... I'm sure there are a few flaw but overall, sonyericsson still the best phone..battery life excellence, screen color beautiful, functions and the rest just above the rest! this is according to my experience

my battery 3days average,transfer from pc 300mb files without problems[usb],picture quality in the middle between n95 and g600 or g800,better then nokia wors then samsung just choose correct settings

there is a screen protector on the camera. did you take it out? cos my photos were blurry initially but i realised there was a piece of protector on it.

Ok, this phone is a bit tricky ...
I finally got my pc to recognise the software so it recognises the phone and stuff but now when I'm trying to see the contnents or put music on it says even though it's in idle screen i need to check the COM port or something and I just don't get it ...! HELP!

Yes, it comes with a stylus.
So far, so good, but don't expect software quality to be as good as Nokia or Sony Ericsson - if you can get past that, this is a really cool phone to have.

I had my U990 for 3 days before taking it back because the camera was so bad I thought is was faulty. The new one is the same so I guess it's just the design. 9 out of 10 photos end up blurry. Very dissapointing. The rest of the phone functionality including touch screen is excellent. Just a very disappointing camera.

to be honest, i like the black better than the silver for Viewty, but that's just my own personal opinion

wow what what a phone. i like my viewty. its great the only fault is theres not lens cover. other than that its the best phone going.

How much time does the initial charging take? Mine took just around 3 hours b4 it told me its fully charged, and it exhausted its charge in a day, though i must admit i used it almost entire day lol.

If you convert the ID3 tag to version 2.3, easily done by right clicking in iTunes, then when you upload tracks, all the album art will be shown.
Sure it doesn't have the very sexy Cover Flow, but that feature is purely for aesthetics and generally not the most convenient way to browse your music. iPhone sacrificed substance for looks.

I had this and sent it back within 3 days. Basically it was slow, the jog wheel around the lens was a complete pain in the arse, the software wouldn't even load onto the p.c. and there's bugger all by way of a support site! My advice - steer well clear! The concept is good, but the inception is a big let down.
