I dont see waht the big deal about having Wi-Fi in a phone is, in NZ there is only hotspots in some cafe, at uni or at home. And usually there is always a computer near by. Dunno about you guys but i'd much rather be using the net on the computer anyway. Having played with the n95, trying to surf on a 2ish inch screen is a pain in the a**. If u really need to send e-mails everwhere you are then you can afford to send data through 3G anyway. I dont really see personal wifi being useful at all, other than to show off within the next 3-5 years.

I just wonder if its better to get this or wait for the G800, 3x optical zoom or a nice touchscreen with 120fps recording? what do you guys prefer more?
And to whoever that said iphone is the phone of the future, WAHAHAHAAH, that was a good one. lets see, bluetooth that cannot be used to transfer anything, no radio, a 2mp camera with NO settings, to name a few. phone of the future huh? other than that touch screen any other feature on the phone is AT LEAST 3 years behind its time!

i believe all their models have DivX cuz it was one of the features they were advertising for the phone. Im just glad they have a DivX converter in the retail package. Less work for me =)

I don't believe they make a model of the viewty without divx. So i'm sure that popular electronics has the divx loaded on their models.

I live in New york. And I really want this phone... can any1 tell me where to get this phone? I looked at the sites that gsmarena gave us, but they did not have DivX .. And I really want DivX. I don't want the prototype. and the money. really doesn't matter. Just hook me up with sites or tell me whether they have DivX, meaning the welectronics one, or not.

This link is posted below. It's stating that the Ku990 is Quadband. Luckily it operates at 1900MHz which Canadian GSM networks use.

personally, i think i will never, ever buy a LG phone because you guys don't care about ur customers in america, hence triband only!

the pix in the camera seems blurry. The color is a bit over brightened. But when you click the camera button once to activate auto focus, you wil notice that the color will change but it will immediately return to its blurry status. Any settting to be recommended? thanks.

Confirm - Currently no way to turn off camera sound effects, whatever profile the phone is in (silent, vibrate only, custom ...)
I concur that voice calls are exceptionally clear. The external speaker is also very clear for playing mp3s / sounds. Radio works as well as any other.
I think wifi would be a very good idea. I fairly sure here in London many main train stations have wifi enabled, and I'm aware that Paris is trying to make a big thing of wireless networking around the city also.
