    anybody else know how to tell the prototype from the real thing? that video on youtube they show the Schneider-Kreuznach logo on the back and i'm pretty sure the version from 3 is not a prototype

      Great looking phone. With all the great features it is sorely missing wifi...?? That would have seal the deal with me.

          The pictures of the case I want to get opens up if you click some of the examples i.e. the Prada one as it seems the most similar to the Viewty. I mean you don't need to take out the phone to use it, all you need to do is open the case each time. I don't want to just protect the screen from scratching it's the entire case, as some of my other phones have like unreal scratching.

            Opps. Actually the width of the lens of Samsung G800 is 4.75mm.

            Anyone knows the width of the lends for Viewty?

              Actually I am considering between this phone and Samsung G800. I think they are both the most magnificent camera phones to come out!

              The major difference I think is that Viewty has touchscreen and an onscreen qwerty keypad, whereas G800 has optical zoom and an interesting sound audio system.

              So it seems like both is excellent but just not sure which to get...

                That's true. First and foremost, how's the phone quality?

                Also, is the on screen qwerty keyboard as smooth as an actual keyboard?

                    i am not sure the type of cover u want is actually good for the Viewty, as it covers up too much of the phone. Phones with large displays such as the Viewty/Iphone r hard to find covers like those. The only thing i think u could get to protect ur phone and still keep the cool style of the phone is a screen protector

                      I think a phone sock would ruin the suaveness of the phone.. ideally I want to buy something like this http://www.noreve.com/category/Telephone_LG.html
                      but was told by this company they will not make a version for thr viewty.. which seems strange to me :S

                          Does anyone know what is the width of LG Viewty's camera lens?

                          I read that this will determine how good the camera can be too.

                          For Samsung G800, the width is 4.78mm if I did not see wrongly.

                            Hey does anyone know if the phone comes with a case or where to get a case from? I am getting my phone tomorrow officially from Three, but I do not want it to become super scratched like my other phones etc.

                                    no offense man:
                                    but i think you should turn it back to the seller: there is obviously a problem with your unit.
                                    every web site that i read say that is one of the best camera phone ever made.
                                    as the comments say bellow , i have seen comparing pictures take with both viewty and k850 and it was better for the viewty except for in the dark pictures (the SE xenon flash is obviously the best ever made on a camera phone).
