hallo,i am from greece and today vodafone here in greece says that viewty will be available at 5/11/07 and this is for sure, and price arround 600EU.i thing that ku990 is a very good phone and comparing with n95 8GB,i thing they are the same except from the gps which a little crap because it takes some minutes to connect.i am saying that because this year bought it(n95) 2 times and i sold them because of his battery.it depents from what you want from a phone, everything?nobody and nothing is perfect dont run behind the technology.please dont buy iphone americans they dont know anything about mobile technology apple of course now with the new pc the white ones and the new software i think is the best and from windows but the iphone sucks.the best low price and i thing the best solution for all is samsung G600 here in greece cost 399EU AND bieleve me it takes better pics and video from the old n95 i have tested.

My thinking is, why would you need a GPS on a mobile phone anyway. If to use in a car you should get yourself a "real" GPS unit anyway. Personally I rather see other unique features in a mobile phone than a GPS.

On another note I see they now GSG Arena now list this phone as "availabe" however I can't seem to find it anywhere, at least not online.

Have anyone heard anything on the SAR value for this phone. I noticed the Prada phone had a rather high value which leads me to believe this phone will as well. One better keep it far away from the head.

Does anyone knows if you can multitask on this phone or if one application needs to be off before the start of the other?

the guy who reviewed the Viewty on "Today on 3G" seems to be contradicting what he says. I think the review is a good review, since he did mention both good and bad things about the phone. For most of us who have yet to try out the Viewty on our own, we can only depend on such reviews. One thing i did notice in the review was that he kept saying he enjoyed the large screen and the design was nice and all, but he only gave a 7/10 score for the design, which is where i found him to be contradicting his ideas. i think i need more reviews to have a better feel of the phone.

ps: it wouldve been nice to NOT have a sony ericsson fanboy reviewing Viewty ;) haha

obtaining a phone before the release isn't a very good idea. It's only a prototype model and all the bugs in it may not be fixed. When LG releases the phone to the public, it is the final version and there may be changes from the review models.

This thing may produce better pictures than Sony´s flagship camera phone....interesting

Are we getting direct comparation anytime soon?

well definitely the reviewer below on the www.todayon3G.com is a LG phone hater. The review was not precise and somewhat misleading. He did not even posted a comparison video results on N95, N93 and LG KU990 side by side.

Knowing he's personal choice is SE K850, so only I can say to the reviewer is even you review an excellent phone on any brand but as long as you hated that certain excellent phone, you will always be blinded out to the good side. You cannot put a good product down.
