je suis très déçu par mon lg ku990 il ne tient pas en charge et ne réponds pas du tout à mes besoins je préférai mon ancien phone nokia 5200 beaucoup plus simple et où j'avais moins de problème de réseau c'est rare lorsque j'arrive à avoir une conversation téléphonique sans coupure je ne conseile vraiment pas le progrès cela n'arrange pas les choses ça les détruit rien ne vaut un simple téléphone il y a moins de problèmes merci de m'avoir lu

For those who are having any problems, check your warranty as Viewty phones purchased after a certain date automatically have a 2 year manufacturer guarantee. This is in the UK as far as I am aware, not sure about other countries.
I have had this phone for 16 months. My only issue is the occasional non-responsive screen which I first noticed approx 4 months ago. My only suggestion to this is to "calibrate" the phone (basically test the touch funtionality). Also, if you access email (gmail, etc) from this handset, a long message (if composing) will crash the phone. It will switch itself off then back on but of course you loose the composed email. A bit of a pain at times. Otherwise, I can't wait to change the phone hence on this site trying to figure out which is best to buy next.
But would I purchase another LG? I think yes, simple funtionality and easy to use.

My Battery last me 3 days with a few calls a day and using the camera throughout the day. Have POWER SAVE ON and thats all you need. Brightness reduction is not necessary..But my Phone is Unlocked from Virgin Mobile maybe the software is better??

as like the rest i love this phone but the battery life is rubbish i charge it for 16 hours and it will last about 6 hours i mean evrything else is good on it but the battery isnt but i found that to save your battery is to put your profile to silent and brighness to 20% thanks

I have owned this phone for quite sometime now and up to now, I cant seemed to find satisfaction. For the message alert tone, too short. For the battery, too fast to get drained, no matter how you set the power save on, or lessen the brightness. And it's not responsive, I mean, it will take few minutes before you can access your "my stuff"~or gallery in laymans term.

Even tho i own so many phones better than this....i cant seem to let go of this Viewty...I have phones worth over $800 and i bought this for $250 and im using this phone the most...sad but true! :)

The LG KU990 Viewty may not have allot of features todays phones have...eg..Quad Band, Wi-fi, Over 2gb support, etc..... But i have found this phone to be the best phone i have owned till now. I have also owned Nokia N95 GB N96,N85, 6110 Navigator, Samsung Omnia, Blackerry Bold, Blackberry storm, LG Renoir, LG Secret, Sony XP1...and more
If You have the Power Saver ON on the LG KU990 Viewty, it out-does all the phones i mentioned above on battery usage. And ive been making calls and using the camera all day..

With regards to battery life, the key is the have power save switched 'on' and if not then ensure the screen brightness is low....this really helps save the battery

battery life is really a problem. this is only for non tech savvy people.

I fell with my phone in my pocket and my screen is shot to hell it costs me like 50 euros to replace it...and to think i wanted an Iphone , they service guy told me it would've cost like 300 euros to replace the screen.

I got it around a year back.Me too happy with the features, but sad with the battery's performance. It started draining quickly in the 1st month itself. Now I talk for 5 mins and the batt goes dead.
I think I will have to use it as a paperweight as stated by someone.
