Hi i had just bought this fone last week and it's really good. i love it. my only problem though is i can't sync my messages to my pc. the rest like contacts do well. can anyone please help?tnx a lot. cheers.

Only issue with it is the DIV X player. ... morehi paul. corrections to my last reply to you re: divx. no matter what size your micro sd is, you should be able to watch your converted divx files as long as they are properly converted to work on a mobile. i'm using my 4gb micro sdhc (almost full with 1300 pics and videos and etc.). my viewty seems to be working fine, i.e. i can watch all divx. it's just that when you want to view pics or videos in the edit mode, not all of them will be accessible. but you can still access them from Picture folder or Video folder in My File. so, basically, more than 2gb works and as long as video files are converted correctly for a mobile device, all should be good. i think i'm starting to like my viewty lol.

i have a k800i and just orderd the ku990 is it atleast better than my old phone

WAIT!!! according to the specs the LG Viewty doesn't have Instant Messaging then? Does anybody have this phone that can tell me if it has it or not?

J... moreI don't have this problem with my phone but if I were you I would go straight back to the Orange shop and get them to sort your phone out properly. Particularly as it's their settings you seem to have a problem with. They should at least reload the settings and test the mms functionality in front of you to prove it works. Don't take no for an answer. That's what the staff are trained for. Then if the phone doesn't work they should sort it out for you if they want to retain your custom.

I too was concerned about the atrocious battery life of my Viewty but when I ditched the leather case I was using which had a fold over magnetic clasp the battery life shot up to about 3 days! Now I love the phone even more and can't fault it:-)

is the LG Viewty a good phone and is it worth me getting it for a christmas present? i have read other reviews about other phones and they are all rubbish and i spotted this phone and the reviews are good! are there often any problems with it? please help! thanks beth x

Hi, please help me. Have got this phone, I quite like it. Just one problem. I can´t send or receive mms!!! Network settings in phone are ok, it´s been checked in Orange shop. Is there something wrong with phone or what? Thanks very much for your help. I appreciate it. Maria

im using n95 8gb and Lg ku990 viewty
the camera of Lg ku990 schneider is better than the n95 carl zeiss optics..
even the video quality of lg ku990 is better because of the 120fps, the n95 can capture video up to 30fps only

Only issue with it is the DIV X player. ... moreHey Paul. did you use the converter software that came with your phone? and since viewty supports only up to 2gb of external memory, it will only recognise movies/files up to 2gb. well, actually it will recognise all the files in your sd, but just wont play them. as a test, delete some of the movie files but leave the ones that didnt play on your micro sd up to 2gb and see if they all play this time. they should. well, this is how i figured my viewty works. :)

Love this phone. Only issue with it is the DIV X player. I have converted loads of cd rom film clips to DIV X and only a couple of them seem to work once transferred through usb. If someone can suggest anything I can try will be appreciated?

i was having major problems with battery life (2-4hrs) and i have discovered the cause i have a leather case on the phone it has a magnetic clousure piece on i took the small magnets out of it and I am now getting 3 days with moderate use the magnets were draining the the battery very rapidly hope this helps anybody having the same trouble
