This phone is a bloody beast. Build quality, display and speed of the device is truly fascinating. I have compared this with galaxy s3 i9305 (the LTE version) and I find Nexus 4 far superior in speed and usage. However, the battery has been quite disappointing so far. Especially during internet browsing and video calling through hangouts/Skype. My battery drained from 76% to 14% in 1 hour of google hangout calls. That sums it all. I would love to get comments on how to improve battery performance (without rooting as I don't want to root it till my warranty holds). I do not know if it is due to the stock android running on my device (the physical specs cannot be the reason for battery drainage) or the settings that I have that drains the battery but battery lasts 1 day with medium usage and for 6-8 hours for heavy usage.

Have been using Nexus regularly for last 3 months. Pros & cons.
Pros - Battery backup lasts for a day under normal usage. Processor is fast enough to run my daily apps(nova launcher/weather forecast/browser/outlook client/gmail apps/reminders/alarm/pdf reader) without any lag.
Cons - Ear phone speaker is placed on the top most edge which makes if difficult to hold and talk. If i hold speaker close to ear then mouth stays far away from mic(placed in bottom side) which makes the sound less audible to the receiver. Another major drawback is power button. It is getting so worse day-by-day and does not turn off/on easily without a hard press. I guess these are one-off issue with my mobile. Kindly confirm if anyone else face the same issues.

Or could just need a factory reset from the custom rom you one ;)

got my nexus 4 today..in one word its just mindblowing..and one best thing is that its get update 1st rather than any other brand..its truly superb

Without considering price and software update, I will choose the XZR. It is bit smaller and lighter plus better camera and water resistant.

Got the phone 2 days ago, a freaking speed demon + the battery is not that bad as every one said, tho i dont use wifi for the whole day but for gaming you can get at least 3.5-4h on screen time!
