Hi guys! here a questions for some android expert, why every phones maker that run android like HTC, LG, SONY and many more, always in the spec the phone doesn't have the "document editor" program and the "Xvid-Dvix" capability??!!(they only always have "document viewer" and No Divx ready). Only Samsung in the galaxy series seems to put always those two important features, why?... I'm wondering if it is some kind of patent that samsung have or they are just better? :-),I don't understand... even this so much waited Nexus 4, that should have everything and I mean Everything because flagship of google, the holy-mother of android!, still no Divx/Xvid out of the box and no document editor!!!! c'mon...... after people wonder why samsung have sold more that 30 milions galaxy S3!!! Of course, I think when you pay that amount of money you want everything possible program running on the device! wtf! :-)

if lg launches this phone above 30k in india then i am going for samsung galaxy s3 as that is also 16 gig with expansion.

This phone costs 349$ for 16gb and 299$ for 8gb version flat.
UNLOCKED...it doesnt come with any carrier. Thats quite less compared to 600$ to 800$ unlocked for iphone 5 and htc one x and galaxy s3.
Why is this better ?
(a)Because it comes close to iphone 5's 326ppi screen density , this phones is 320ppi , thats more than sg3,sg2,ipad2 etc.
(b)os is android 4.2 and be sure this will be the first on the planet to get updates instatly , my old nexus S still gets updates after 2yrs of owning and living in another country despite buying in US.
(c)screen is better than super AMOLED etc and at managing battery and is also higher resolution than sg3 , samsung note , lg 4xhd etc.
(d)camera vastly upgraded from old nexus and some recent smartphones.
(e)quadcore processor , better in performance than samsung s3 , note 1 , htc oneX..despite them other phones being quadcores , also has 2gb ram ...1gb more than others.
(f)lastly , its gorilla glass 2 and rubberised plastic in construction , why does everyone praise iphone 4 for doing the same but complain when google does it ??
sturdy , solid contruction ...not just whole squeky plastic like sg3 , note 1 ,2..
WHERE IT LACKs... non expandable and no 4g.
Well , for most people 16gb is enough, atleast for me it is...as for 4glte , its yet to be implemented properly all across by US etc. not even introduced in rest of world properly, So why not enjoy 3.7g on T-mobile till 4g develops by next year , cause then there will be another 4g + expandable nexus then if you want to buy. I am content with this.
Besides , this is the cheapest , fastest , most powerful phone literally on the planet today(atleast for next 2-3 months). . .beats the sg3,one X, lg hdX etc and note 1 HANDSDOWM (despite note 1 being a hybrid )...so think about it.
Best part ?
those living in non US countries like me can get a quadcore beauty cheap , for example most quadcores in india cost 35,000-40,000 INR , which is very high cost when average 5mpx single core 1ghz, 4.1 inch mobiles cost 17,000inr but this costs 22,000 inr. what do you think most people wil buy with a little effort ???

Price in india 23000/- Inr is for 8 gb ebay, 27000k for 16gb. But im not sure about ebay pricing, wil wait till 13 novmbr or until google or lg release a statement regarding price in other countries. 27 k for 16 gb is no pocket friendly. Prices still too high

Can you all stop bitching about the price. It's an amazing phone. If you know say apple charges 700 for a phone it's amazing and revolutionary, but the nexus (only outside of google play) charges less than an iphone and all everyone does is bitch. I know and agree its annoying, but just dont get it if you cant afford it. And if you can't afford it what can you afford. It's really not anymore expensive than anything else on the market.....

Sure some lucky americans and Canadians can buy it through google cheaper, but to say oh its too expensive and buy an s3 is stupid. Its a much better phone. It should cost more.
