Ys i gt android L update through factory image. but it doesn't look same lyk nexus 5, dnt knw y, lack of animation etc, is der any diffrence between OTA update and factory update, heard OTA update will be around by nxt week

Already updated on lollipop and everything is butter smooth. Even rooted with custom recovery. Nice job Google. Thanks for keeping my gorgeous nexus alive.

While using 3G service phone battery exhausted and phone got heated, any body reply why this happened. Phone working normally on wi fi.

I'm from philippines my xperia z1s(t mobile ver.) fell and broke it screen..i was very disappointed to the point of desperately acquiring a nexus 5 or nexus 4..and to a surprise a local phone store sells the nexus 4 16gb for only 8,900 philippine peso brand new as a clearance sale..its about 200 usd..is it a good deal??..i'll be possibly getting that baby within 24 hours! :)

My phone-LG Nexus 4- now it is on 4.4 android. recently system alert me to upgrade to 4.4.2 (system is ready download) that's why it tell me to restart and install. but after I pressed restart and install, it restart the phone and rebooted, but on a half of progressing I show error. So anybody can explain me, what happened? and what should I do next?

This is surprisingly a nice little phone, but then it does have a nice quad-core, 2 Gb RAM, etc.
Pros: Noticeably fast, loads games/apps and runs them pretty quick. Feels like a nice solid construction and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. Nice clear and sharp high resolution display even in sunlight. NFC and BT works as it is expected.
Cons: Can't install a micro-SD for more storage. Speaker volume is horribly low so makes it tough for handsfree calling when driving. Camera vids and pics are horribly blah. Micro-USB jack f*cked up (thankfully still under warranty) and I was told by the place where I bought it that they are seeing this happen regularly with this phone.
I've been reasonably lucky other than having my micro-USB jack f*cking up. I've read that some people have problems with crashes and corruption (obvious motherboard/hardware defects), cracks and so on. I have a screen protector and rubber bumper for my device...gotta protect it as I've ruined/killed other cell phones before.
I will be happy to upgrade to the N6 soon, and keep this rock solid reliable cell phone as a back up. Ain't no one gonna inherit this device from me. They'll have to pry it out of my cold dead hands.
