Add me to that list as well. I don't want a great big slab of plastic ruining my jeans (Nexus 6). The N5 is a comfortable size to hold in one hand; this new abomination is SO WRONG, and I think that will reflect in the poor sales figures it gets.
Google should bring out a Nexus 5X, still with the 4.95" screen, but with a larger capacity battery and redesigned camera. Now that I WOULD buy!

Sticking with nexus 5. My partner has moto E and nexus 6 has similar looks. It also has that horrible hump making it thick 10mm thickness - that's just too much on a phablet - be interesting to see what the speakers are like though but with nexus 4 getting lollipop I have no reason to worry about nexus 5 not receiving updates for at least another year. I think Google should have turned to Samsung for the phablet nexus as we all know how good their note series are.

The sticker in question is on one of the end panels of the box the phone came in. You will see the IMEI No. and below that a Serial No. beginning with S/N:
That is the one I was talking about.
If your phone keeps going into Safe Mode then there is a possibility that you have an app installed that the phone doesn't like.
You could try removing all your apps and installing them one at a time to see if any of them is causing the conflict.

What happened exactly? Did the phone just suddenly die on you?
Try this first, it might help (I'm assuming that the battery IS charged).
(I'm doing this from memory but I believe it is right). Press the Power button and keep holding it down until a menu appears on the screen (not the Google logo). On that menu use the Vol Up/Down buttons until you see 'Recovery mode'. Press the Power button once to select. On the menu that appears use the Vol Up/Down to select 'wipe cache partition' and press the Power button once again. This takes a long while, be patient. When the cache is cleared you will return to the previous menu. Use the Vol Up/Down again to select 'reboot phone'.

My model is a 311K and I haven't had any problem with the 'wobbly' buttons that other users complain of.
I did have a slight problem with the ear piece speaker, which was too low for my liking, but I cured that with a volume widget from the Play Store.

Ok, so if the first digit from S/N stands for the year, if I want to buy a N5 and it's 311k is it ok? I mean from 311k untill now, all the newer versions and so on, are the same? or are there modificatons done to it?
I'm asking this because I want to buy it, and found a 311k for a good price, so I want to know if the issues with buttons and grills are done the same on any newer verion that is out there, because i might get a newer version from my shop, I dont know yet, I'll see when my phone comes :)

ALL phones get warm when they are working, it's simple physics. The battery is under pressure and so is the processor.
Put you hand behind a TV when it is on and feel the heat being generated. The same with a laptop.
People should stop asking this silly question.
