So,Nexus 5 users i have some bad news for you and some good news too.
The bad news which is Nexus 5 won't Get Android Nougat Officially!
The Good News which is Better is That we'll get Android Nougat via custom roms Which are even better than Stock roms concerning Battery life and performance which matter the more :-)

it's a July security patch level bug ! which google didn't fix yet.

I did that when I found the volume too low on my N5. I don't know why it works but it does. Just place the widget on one of your screens and crank the sliders up to maximum.

Latest update ( security patch ) of naxus 5 damage my microphone and earphone. They are not working. I can say that they are die. Plz do something.

This is the 4th time I bought a Nexus 5 ! Even today high end cell phone cannot beat the Nexus 5 ! The speed the fluidity the simplicity of 5 is unbeatable ! Perhaps I think the best Android phone ever made !

third,i barely catch LTE.my friend has a nexus 5 too.but,he uses LTE all the time.but for me everytime i turn to LTE Mode i stuck in emergency calls only

I think Google play music is utilizing its wolfson DAC pretty well now than it came first out of the box. I may say it is comparable to the latest model boasting of HIFI DAC. I have Vivo V3 Max I can say it can stack up against it.

Both Nexus 4 and 5 have awful battery life as seen with the endurance rating here of 32hr and 38hr. Expect to kill 20-25% every hour when the screen is on. And it came from 2013, so degraded battery is already there. A "5 720p should be powered by a 2500 mAh minimum. For 1080p, should be 3000-3200 mAh minimum.
