Lets say by 7pm my battery is about 10% on 5x which is my emergency level after April security patch it is now 10% just after 5pm.

Never buy nexus 5, I have restarting complaint. I totally messed up.. just search nexus 5 restarting in google, you will find out problems of nexus user.

3 days ago i recieved the Android security patch level of april.
my nexus 5 battery is still draing the same as before.
i don't really know what i'm gonna do about this.
i will have to buy a newer battery.
can anyone here suggest me any solution apart from reseting the hanset and wiping cashe partition ?

my nexus 5 decided to die on me suddenly! apparently the motherboard is damaged and the 'bloody' thing costs more to repair than if one had to buy a new phone! why should a perfectly good instrument die on you without warning? I DO NOT ADVICE GETTING THIS BRAND OF PHONE TO ANYBODY!

I also have N5 and I think it still a great phone. If you want more system updates you should take N5X or 2016 HTC N5.
KitKat -> Lolipop -> Marshmallow = Lots of updates
Maybe this phone won't get more than 2016 Android N :-(
( for Android N update maybe Cyanogenmod gonna help)

This is by far the best gadget I have ever used. But I am a bit bored of the design after two years and 5x is pretty much the same. Can't seem to like any other phone after true android awesomeness. Any suggestions for next phone?

Tried to do the latest update but battery drained out Midway. Now the phone is not turning on again after charging the battery. It keeps saying no command. What do I do to get my phone back working?

i guess my battery needs to be calibrated.
i tried many times to calibrate it but didn't succed.

Front camera has some issues mainly with trusted face stops working when the issue arise.
Worst case is when you need to take a quick shot and the camera is not responding, too much time to reset.
Said that, mostly a great phone, price, weight and smooth experience so far...
Lastly, it felt down from upstairs (it has a plastic bumper case) and it passed without issue.

For battery issues, if it is draining faster, you can delete unnecessary apps....i was so fed up of its battery backup for a month.....but when i deleted unwanted apps...it is working perfectly fine and i can use it for atleast 20-24 hrs on wi-fi and 3g.....

I´ve been using my Nexus5 for 2 years now and very satisfied with it. I rooted it, but left the original os. I think It´s time to upgrade to M, because my phone is still runs 4.4.4...
