Eddie, 26 Mar 2016Serious battery problems . . . drains heavily all the time ... morei have the same problem.
the battery is draining fast.
i did wiped the cashe partition and unchecked the auto scanning of wifi but still the same.
i had the ''emergency calls only'' (no service) message for 24 hour.
it was such a black day.
i did a factory reset and that fixed the problem.
i hope that Android N update Covers Nexus 5 we still need an update to fix the weak cellular network signal and the battery problem.

The Nexus 5 is, in my opinion, still one of the best phones (dated April 5, 2016). I have the iPhone 6S, the Moto X 2nd Gen, the Galaxy S4 in my arsenal, and find that the Nexus 5 just a fast (if not faster) than the new iPhone 6S, and with Marshmellow on the device, it is by far the best OS today. LG knocked this one out of the park.

lg, 28 Mar 2016F U lg, Why this POS gets 6.0 and where is the damn updat... moreSince the nexus 5 is based on the G2 it's like saying that the G2 is a POS too!
The nexus 5 was a flagship killer and it's a a pure android experience provided directly by google itself. Why the LG G2 doesn't get even marshmallow it's because it's LG related, you're lucky you're on Lollipop 5.0.2, not even the latest version of lollipop is available on that phone. I'm a happy nexus 5 owner and it's design is far prettier than LG's smartphones by far...

sree, 13 Mar 2016when we are getting the android n in the nexus 5 ?they have reported that it will be released in the third quarter of this year.
but,Only for Some nexus devices like 5x,6,6p,and nexus player.
The developers are still testing Android N on nexus 5 so as to see if it will handle it or not as it is an old handset with low specs.

                          I've read somewhere this:
"Google's Git repositories has revealed that the developers are testing the Android N for LG Nexus 5.
This was confirmed when Hammerhead (codename of Nexus 5) tagged with Android N Preview 1 was found in the repositories of Google Git."

As it is said in the other 2 comments. Cameras are decent, the phone supports OTG without any other application if you have Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. I'm not sure the battery is going to last a whole day if you are a heavy user, since it's a small battery for a big processor and Full HD screen.

                                        No news as of now.
Not sure if we will get it in the first place. You may have to rely on custom Roms. Google is still working on developer preview for Nexus 5. If we see a developer preview soon then we might get Android n.
